Adopting THEO Foundation
The Adopting T.H.E.O. Foundation supports charitable initiatives related to adoption and foster care.
Todays the day. The Adopting THEO Foundation is signed-up and we hope you’ll consider making a donation to help us reach our $15,000 goal. Even a dollar donation makes a difference. While The Adopting THEO Foundation would love all the donations, please help our friends today as well, just not as generously as you were to us.

Cookie and Cards for Seniors was such a huge success, so much fun and rewarding. Bringing smiles to seniors in our community is the JOY we all needed this holiday season. Over 400 boxes of cookies were delivered to Seniors in Montgomery, Maybrook, Pine Bush and Newburgh. A huge thank you to Berea Elementary and East Coldenham Elementary School for making cards for our seniors. Michele McKeon and Robin Deagroat, your rock stars baking over 1000 cookies. As this grew and became more than we could do ourselves, we made a call to our local Sam’s Club. We couldn’t have made over 4000 cookies without you. Thank You!
A HUGE thank you to our community members that so generously donated, all of this wouldn’t have been possible without your kind hearts. Dickie Baxter, Bonnie Hopkins, Tara Bliss, Renee DeZemo, Corey Bellarosa, Karen Ohanian Del Pilar, Gladys Zwier, Jackie Rose, John Fallon, James Turner, Patricia Reid, The Bauer Family, Eric Maldonado, Susan Massaro, RECAP, Ann Marie Maglione, Ellen Quimby, Julia Loeser, Faith Loeser, The License to Sell Team and Amy Frisbie.
A huge thank you to our Theo, who continues to inspire us through the amazing gift he gives us daily!
Next year we’re going to shoot for 800 boxes!
Wow what a community can do when they come together. We had a huge out pouring of donations for our Cookies & Cards for Seniors. We well surpassed our $1000 goal. We planned on making cookie for 200 seniors and now we’re increasing it to between 300-400. Thank you everyone for your amazing generousity. A huge thank you to everyone that donated, Dickie Baxter, Bonnie L. Hopkins, Tara Bliss, Renee DeZemo, Corey Bellarosa, Karen Ohanian Del Pilar, Gladys Zwier, Jackie Rose, John J Fallon, James Turner and Amy Frisbie. I’m sure we will have more donations coming in.
We’ll be at The Table from 11am-3pm today for toy drop offs. Together with The Table, we’re asking for donations of new, unwrapped toys and gift cards for the local children of Orange County in Foster Care. Donations can be dropped off or mailed to: The Table, 73 Clinton Street, Montgomery, 12549. Together we can bring joy to our local foster families.
Thank you to Dickie Baxter for the generous donation. Your always there for our community. We need just a few more sponsors to reach our $1000 goal. No donation is to small, Every dollar Helps.
For Christmas, The Adopting THEO Foundation is pairing up with our local elementary school for our first Cookies & Cards for Seniors.
We’re currently looking for monitary donations and sponsorships from our local community and business. Donations will help purchase supplies for baking and packaging for over 200 seniors right here in Montgomery.
Send me a message if you would like to donate.

We at the foundation got a chance to be a part of this celebration. It was great to be included in a day that we as a foundation know personally, the struggles, the many people and organizations that come together to make an adoption happen.

Thank you Phil & Michelle for all you do to better our community!
Words can not express the gratitude we have after our Adopting THEO Foundation fundraiser last night. It was an amazing event filled with fun, laughter and excitement. Worth every minute over the past few months planning it! We had an amazing turn out for our first event from our generous community! Guaranteed to be a annual staple for the foundation.
We could not have pulled off the event with out the magnificent Dickie Baxter, Vinny Reda and the entire License2Sell Team as our guest dealers! Everyone did such an amazing job and made the evening so special. Messages are pouring in this morning about how fun all the dealers were and how they made it easy for a beginner!
Eric Guarneri for E Rock Entertainment LLC. knocked it put of the park, hours of set up and planning would have never happened without you! Your team did an amazing job! Thank you
Tracy from Be Our Guest Party Planning! Wow you created such a fun environment for everyone to enjoy! Your generous donation made the event.
Tracy Palumbo and Carlos from Richard's Dairy Shed were so amazingly generous to donate ice cream for the event, without any hesitation. What a treat it was to enjoy ice cream at this event! Theo’s your number one fan!
Patricia Reid for months we’ve strategized every detail of this event. You were always available for my call! Thank you for manning the Barber Lounge Bucks!
Josh and Renee DeZemo killed it bringing in sponsorship.
Faith Loeser and Nick Loeser rocked the prize wheel and creating so much fun giving out Cory’s Pickles, Richard’s Ice Cream and Adopting THEO Swag.
Thank you Robin Degrot for rocking check in and Patricia Reid for countless hours of planning and owning the The Barber Lounge Bucks!
Thank you to Stacey Bolsenbroek Muller and Lisa Mitchell from the The Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan for your continued support. The night wouldn’t have been successful without you! We love you Elizabeth Rowley, you have an amazing team.
Our right hand man Patrick Davenport is always there to help with any job we throw at him. You’re like family to us!
I can’t wait to see all the amazing pictures Helen Tighe took at the event, for some reason, we didn’t take a single one! We’re happy to call you a friend and honored that you were there to help!
Thank you to everyone that donated to our tricky tray. We had so many amazing prizes available to win and give away. The generousity from our community is humbling! I heard it so many times during the event, these are the best prizes and gifts I’ve seen at any event!
