Hello world! Been very busy the last few month with starting my first small business as a native bee steward (Witbloom Pollinator Gardens). But now that deeper fall is here and things are slowing down, I’m getting back to music.
Was awarded a sweet grant in Research and Creation by Canada Council for the Arts and will spend the winter having fun on keyboard, loop station and voice processor. Oh my, haha!
Stay tuned for musical clips of my exploration. It feels so good to play! Love love ❤️
Hello friends, Bandcamp is waving its fees this Friday April 3rd. Nice time to support artists you love by buying their music!
Remember this?
Spread the word.
Much much love in these seemingly un-ending pandemic times xoxo

Hello world. So probably most of you don't know that but i've spent the last 3 weeks as part of an online Banff Residency, in piano composition. Being part of this residency lit a real fire in my heart of music, and it gave me an existential shake down, in all the best ways possilble. I feel infinitely grateful for the deeply inspiring members of my cohort, my mentors and the admin staff that made all this possible (you know who you are you amazing humans!).
As a 'result' of this residency, i have quit ma part-time job as i want to spent significantly more time playing/creating/learning/releasing music and develop my skills as a sound engineer. Also, i'm getting curious about the path of improvisation on piano, as it seems it would solve a lot of deeply frustrating problems encountered with the realm of music production; namely the issue of contemporary expression.
As a way to breaking free from being in a performative state, or a way of gettting a change from creating fully orchestrated performative pieces with a pre-determined lyrical narrative, and in order to challenge my crippling relation with perfectionism, here's a clip of some states and ideas I have been exploring during the residency.
Much love, enjoy xo!
Also, while i'm at it, there is this wondrous animation, created in 2016-17 by the lovely and talented Victoria-based visual artist Kerri Flannigan. That song is from my second album. Enjoy! : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlwjRHkALPE
