Some exciting news at the Pod Candle Co.!

Due to a change in personal circumstances I have handed over the candle business to Joanne who will be taking over the making and running of the Pod Candle Co.

The candles will now be made in Langholm and can be purchased from Holmspun and hopefully soon available via the website. But in the meantime message the page if you would like to order any candles. Christmas gift sets available to purchase 🎄🎅

New wicks, jars and fragrance all being tested today. I think my nose is in overdrive with all the different scents floating about 👀

Testing out scents for a new range I'm hoping to introduce in a month or two 🤞

We have some new neighbours at the Pod! We have a few swallow nests around the garden but this year they've decided to set up home at the Pod. Hopefully we'll see some swallow chicks soon 🤞🥚🐦

🌍 Happy Earth Day 2020 🌎

Small actions can add up to have a big impact on the planet. At the Pod Candle Co we aim to be as eco friendly as possible.

🌾Our wax is made from the oil of soy beans which is a natural, environmentally friendly product that doesn't release toxins into the air.
📦Our packaging is eco friendly and recyclable. Our packaging peanuts used when posting your candles are biodegradable and if run under a tap will disintegrate.
🌱 The jars we use can be reused or recycled, along with the aluminium lids are able to be recycled and all our labels are made from recycled paper.

Whenever making a decision about future products we research the most eco friendly way to produce and present our creations 🌿

Hope everyone is staying safe out there 💕 the sun was out yesterday and there wasn't much of a breeze (unusual for living at the top of a hill!)

Whilst half way through cutting the grass the batteries ran out so I took some time to just have a wee sit down and admire the views 🌄 It's sometimes easy to forget everything that's going on when you live so rurally and don't see many people especially when not working at the moment.

Waiting for some wax to be delivered and then I'll be back in the Pod stocking up on more candles & melts for when we open up again 💛
