Mentally Chill
A podcast where real people talk about real problems. A place to spread mental health awareness.
This conversation absolutely blew me away. Gale Weinberg lost her lovely son, Michael (one of my childhood friends), a little over a year ago and she walks us through his struggle with addiction. I am inspired by her ability to find meaning and joy in her life after such an unfathomable loss. Tune in today and check in on someone you love💕
Don't miss out on Episode 10 w/ one of my mentors Brandon Eyring
We run the gamut on this one- from generational trauma to why mental health is a 1st world problem. We talk about how your partner/parents/friends are NOT your therapists and about how McDonald's Coke may or may not be overrated.

Debut of the first Shlapak guest - my baby brother Geoffrey. We talk about ADHD, bullying, & video games. This attic is probably the most ratchet location I’ve recorded yet. I don’t care hahahahahaha I’m proud of this kid
Episode 7- What’s Good? [my first solo session] live from my month to month lease in Jersey City. Listen now! Or don’t listen, because honestly no one likes being told what to do.
Episode 5 with Julie. We talk about being an Asian American. We talk about how asking for help is hard. We talk about how being vulnerable isn’t natural for some people. ðŸ§
Don't sleep on Episode 4
Yup yup... Episode 4 with an old friend Jeff Stern🫢
Jeff tells us about his journey into and out of Hollywood, why everyone is creative at heart, and how ci******es and loneliness have similar effects on the body.

Hey chillers! I’m going to real with y’all. I love Mentally Chill but life is wonky these days so I haven’t been able to prioritize it like I want to. Been traveling, getting involved with my passion of real estate investing, falling out of friendships, rekindling other friendships, trying to not eat like crap. ALSO I’m in the process of moving. Anyway! I’m being selfish and not giving my time away for free, but trust when I see mama’s in the kitchen cooking up goodies for y’all. I recorded 3 (yes 3) fuego, intense, holy s**t kinda episodes last week for you guys that I’m in progress of editing ! So go be selfish in the meantime, sit tight, and stay tuned 🧠💚
Welcome to your safe space to be messy, weird, dark, nervous, and excited! The purpose of "Mentally Chill" is to promote mental health awareness and normalize the highs and lows of life. We're spreading awareness one story at a time from real people with real struggles. Additionally, this is a place to get the inside scoop on mental health resources (therapy, medication, etc.), and find out what it's really like to ask for help. Also, we laugh a lot. Because life is hard, but it's also quite funny. Thank you for choosing to be here, you are where you need to be.
