UGA Oboe Studio

Last week was a busy one for the UGA oboe studio! First on Wednesday, we watched the Spectrum Winds Air Force small ensemble! Then on Saturday we hosted Dr. Messich's mentor and teacher Mr. Richard Woodhams to teach a masterclass! And finally on Sunday we hosted our annual double reed symposium with !

Time to welcome our next oboist, Brenna Sexton!

Brenna is a 1st-year student from Marietta Georgia! She is planning on majoring in AB music and Communication Science and Disorders.

Fun fact about Brenna is that she was born in Tucson Arizona and she loved living there. Brenna is excited to meet new people with similar interests and passions. Plus getting ready for the next chapter of life, and to see how I develop as a person these next few years.

New member alert! Meet Eleazar Louis!!

Eleazar is a 1st-year oboe from Dacula, Georgia. Eleazar is planning on majoring in Music Therapy!

A fun fact about Eleazar is that he loves to watch and play basketball! Eleazar is looking forward to making friends in the school of music!

It's time to meet the oboe studio! First up we have Ashlyn Long!

Ashlyn is a 1st-year oboe from Alpharetta, GA. She is majoring in AB Music and Management Information Systems.

A fun fact about Ashlyn is that she has a dog named after Kiry Smart! She is looking forward to meeting all of the fantastic people in the studio and getting better at the oboe!
