Facing Tough Times?

In life, we all confront challenges, including me.

During tough times, I do three things:
Pray. Always.
Revisit my BIG WHY – the reason driving my success.
Focus on my MINDSET – our thoughts shape our reality.

I jot down any "STINKIN THINKIN" – negative thoughts turned into excuses. 📝

Then, I rewrite these lies into TRUTHS like:
I can do all things through Christ.
Imperfect action is progress.
I'm called and capable.
Progress over Perfection.
Opposition equals opportunity.
My breakthrough is coming.

Why share this? If you're facing discouragement, KEEP GOING.

Your breakthrough is promised. Don't let obstacles win. 💪

A simple yet profound lesson I had to learn and keep top of mind every single day, is that whatever I am not changing, I am CHOOSING.

Every day I make decisions, both big and small, and each one of them has a consequence.

If I'm in a circumstance that I don’t like, it’s up to me to change it. If I don’t change it, I am CHOOSING to accept it. It’s as simple as that.

🛑Real talk, you don’t have to be good at EVERYTHING. You need to be GREAT at building relationships with your Sphere and working to grow that list every day. Isn’t that a relief?

If your Sphere is 500 people and each of them knows 100 people, that’s 50,000 opportunities for real estate referrals. That’s way too big of a number to ignore! 😱

It’s time to get back to the basics. It’s time to go BACK TO SCHOOL. 🎓

Sometimes the only thing you have control over is your PERSPECTIVE.

Meaning, you may not have control over your situation but you do have a choice about how you view it.

Through many counseling sessions I have learned that me trying to control things was a trauma response.

And control is a fear based.

So today, and everyday, I’m working to give ALL control to Jesus and to change my perspective on the things I don’t understand.

It can be scary at times but mostly is FREEING and AMAZING!

Are you on the struggle bus?

I know, I know -- Life is easier inside your comfort zone. Life is easier doing the “normal” routines. (𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘦, 𝘐 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘪𝘵)

But, you weren’t born for normal.

You were born for GREATNESS!

You were born an OVERCOMER! 🙌

So as you start your week, get laser focussed on what activities you have been putting off that will move you closer to your goal. (𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦)

Once you have that identified, commit to taking ACTION.

And remember, God has given you everything you need to succeed, but you must TAKE ACTION, imperfect daily action.

I have heard this statement so much, and I cringe when I hear it...⁣
"God will never give you more than you can handle."⁣
⁣
I really dislike this statement. Let me explain...⁣
⁣
My daily challenges typically come not from God but from other people who have free will or are consequences of my own decisions and actions or lack of action I should have taken. ⁣
⁣
But this statement insinuates that God sits up in heaven doling out hardships to people and that we are not to worry because WE can handle it. ⁣
⁣
Truth is, WE can't. (And to try on our own is not biblical)⁣
⁣
But guess who can?⁣
⁣
My Jesus can! ⁣
⁣
Romans 8:28:⁣
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.⁣
⁣
So let's rephrase the statement into the truth...⁣
⁣
The world will hand you more than you can handle, but it will never give you more than HE can handle.
