🎨 Four of our adult workers recently participated in the course "Art as Therapy: Self-Expression and Special Needs in Art Education" in Nice. This amazing experience helped them use the healing power of art to improve well-being, empathy, and grow both personally and professionally.
✨During the course, they explored how art therapy contributes to mental and emotional development. They learned to use art as a powerful tool for promoting integration and communication among adults.
🌟Our team experimented with various art techniques like painting, 3D art, collage, mixed media, and photography. These activities demonstrated how art can enhance the relationshop between the facilitator and the learner and provide efficient means of expression and understanding.
📸This course reinforced the role of art-related activities in personal development across all ages. Art isn't just about creating; it's a profound way to connect with ourselves and others. It influences our physical well-being, boost self-esteem, and improve self-knowledge, empathy, and emotional regulation.
🎨This course was a blend of learning, growth, and creativity. We're excited to bring these insights back to our work and continue to promote a supportive and inclusive environment for all!

🌿📸 We're happy to present the vernissage from the exhibition "Sustainable Living Through the Lens" taking place in Brasov, Romania, between 19th of July- 2nd of August. It is a beautiful collection of photographs created by dedicated youth workers and youths who participated in our EU-funded Erasmus+, learning and experimenting with diverse photographic techniques: pinhole, solargraphy, and digital photography.

Through these photographs, our young photographers have explored and conveyed their vision of sustainability, highlighting the beauty and fragility of the environment. This exhibition is not just a showcase of their technical and artistic skills but also a testament to international collaboration and cultural exchange.

Each photograph tells a unique story about our responsibility to nature and the importance of maintaining ecological balance, inviting us all to reflect and act for a greener future.

💗 Between 06-14.06.2024, four youth workers from our NGO participated in the “A.C.T.I.V.E." Training Course in Malta. The project trained the youth workers giving them specific skills and competences on entrepreneurship in order to make them able to promote, create and organize activities with NEETs from their communities.
💗 The Training Course increased participants' capacities in supporting the young unemployees from their areas. Once back in their countries, after the implementation of the project, the youth workers feel more confident working with NEETs and creating non-formal activities on entrepreneurship skills.

🫶Last week, as part of the ‘Sustainable Living through the Lens’ KA210 project, we hosted the local workshop in Romania, led by the youth workers who were trained during our previous “Eco You(th) Lens” Training Course.
🍀The workshop focused on promoting sustainability and eco-friendliness among youths, revolving around the use of Pinhole photography and digital photography in promoting ecology and creating campaigns.
💚Participants learned about sustainable practices and how they can be incorporated into their daily lives and explored pinhole photography techniques, developing their creativity and artistic skills, while also learning about the importance of environmental awareness.

🔹 Ce este ActivateEU?
Activate EU este o inițiativă a unor tineri lideri entuziaști care are scopul de a angaja și împuternici tinerii din județul Brașov să devină participanți activi la alegerile locale, naționale și europene. Misiunea noastră este de a cultiva o nouă generație de activiști civici pasionați de protejarea statului de drept și de promovarea valorilor democratice.

Într-o lume care evoluează rapid, vocile tinerilor noștri sunt mai importante ca niciodată. Activate EU este aici pentru a:

🗳️ Încuraja participarea electorală în rândul tinerilor;

Flashmob Youth Exchange "Be Active!!!" Be Active!!!

🫶During the ''Be active!'' Youth Exchange, in the beautiful settings of Polish mountains, the 30 participants worked together to produce:
- flash mob video
- recorded podcasts
- videos campaigns aimed at encouraging youth participation in local activities
💚Also, the youth come up with engaging ideas for city games that will be implemented soon in our communities.

💗 Between 18th to 25th of May, 8 youth from our community, together with 2 youth leaders participated in the “Be Active!” Youth Exchange which brought together in total 30 participants from Lithuania, Poland and Romania.
🌍The mobility helped to increase the civic and political engagement of young people and improve the quality of youth work.
🫶The objectives were giving young people the opportunity to participate in civil society, increasing their awareness of European values and fundamental rights, developing their social and civic skills, involving young people from different social groups, and improving the quality of youth work by creating a guidebook on civic education.
🤩Thank you to our amazing partners LVJUC from Lithuania and Animus Foundation from Poland for the unforgettable experience!

During 17th and 20th of May, the APV for the 'Word-Check' YE was held in Slovakia. The project aims at empowering young people by fostering critical thinking, fact-checking the media they consume, and recognizing and working against hateful behaviors on media platforms.

💗Between 14 and 19th of May we hosted the ''Creative Youth Workers' Network for Inclusion'- Seminar, in Brasov, bringing together 20 youth workers from Bulgaria, Greece, Slovakia, Poland, France, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Spain and Romania. The Seminar addressed the common challenges faced by youth workers and create opportunities for collaboration in the youth field. Participants developed strategies to create supportive environments for the youth they work with, exchange best practices, experiences, learn and test creative, innovative methods.

💗During the Seminar 'Creative Youth Workers Network for Inclusion', we created a network of youth workers and NGOs called 'IncluHUB' and identified methods to officially register it. Participants shared knowledge, methods, activities ideas, increasing their facilitation and youth work competences. They discussed about ways to develop sustainable projects that address the specific needs of their communities.

💚Last Saturday we held the Dissemination Conference of our 'Sustainable Living through the Lens' KA210 Erasmus+ project, at Transilvania University from Brasov. The event was attended by 30 enthusiastic young participants, and supported by Myndself- Hub Pepinteen.
💚The conference was an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences, share the progress and outcomes of our Erasmus+ project, and promote our future activities, as an invitation for active involvement of our participants.
💚We are proud to see such interest in pushing the boundaries of the educational system.

🍀📸Between 28/01-03/02/2024, the 'Eco You(th) Lens' Training Course was carried out in Brasov, as part of our KA210- 'Sustainable Living Through The Lens' project, which aims at increasing environmental awareness and promoting sustainable living through photography, bringing together participants from France, Turkiye and Romania.
📸❤️The course emphasised photography as a tool for environmental activism and campaign making and provided opportunities for participants to exchange ideas and experiences, learn from each other, and develop new skills, including green business ideas.

🌎We want to share our experience of the training course “Colors of Connection” which took place from the 28th of November until the 7th of December in Georgia.
The Training Course, which united participants from eight different countries, aimed at promoting art therapy as a tool for youth workers. Art therapy can be used to interpret, express, and resolve emotions and thoughts.
Because of a wide variety of activities, art therapy is a useful tool to improve the mental health of youngsters. To reach this goal of the training course, the participants were taught different types of art therapy by experiencing them on themselves.
After getting an introduction about art therapy by Anna Zedginidze who works as therapist, the participants dived deeper into sharing emotions and fears through different tools of art therapy.
Expressing emotions through & painting was one challenge that was coached by Vato sereteli. The next day the participants got to experience the influence of music and sounds on one’s mind together with Musictherapist Nellie Agirba. Irina Salmina showed the participants how it is to work with their own & hands on clay. To wrap it up we had a visit from Vano Kharashvili and Natia Sokurashvili to enjoy some * Forum Theatre.
# “Everyone is creative” was the motto of this Erasmus+
Project and it gave everyone the opportunity to express their creativity in their own way. The Training Course built the base for the participants to include art therapy into their work but also into their daily lives.

🌍✨ In November we attended the Kick-off meeting of our Erasmus+ KA210-YOU project 'Sustainable Living Through the Lens'.
At the heart of our discussions were the project's objectives, results and the activities we're going to implement throughout the project. We also delved into the sustainability topic, exploring its benefits and discussing the imperative concept of climate justice. 🌎💚 We explored Pinhole photography and experimented with Solargraphy cameras as creative tools to promote ecological practices and sustainability. 📷🌞
