Watched Tye Trujillo and roxy last night. Blown away with Tye’s baddass bass playing. Surreal being at the Roxy w/ my daughter when I was on the very same stage around their age. Check them out!

In the studio this past week mixing
Just picked up my 1974 Gibson Les Paul custom from Eric’s Guitar Shop and this thing is sooo dialed in!!!
Brought a couple guitars to Eric’s Guitar Shop today and had him talk a bit about my 73 Strat “Fork”. And another significant thing about Eric’s was meeting Brent Hoffort in the early 2000s when he worked there and he’s been my writing partner ever since!!

Up here in Cambria enjoying the beach. This is my brother from another mother Jeff Biebuyck . We played together in a band in the early 90’s called Alien Ink and he was the singer. Jeff’s the guy that’s been pushing and posting the new content on social media. We took some great footage for the new album art and video content. So grateful to have this guy in my life all these years

Happy New Year from Malibu from me and my daughter! Hope 2023 is a year filled with happiness and good health for you all!
Here’s a little clip of something I learned in 2000 while taking a handful of lessons from Ted Greene. This is not going on the record but I love the way my 1941 Martin 000-18 plays and records. I’m so grateful for this guitar and for the time I got to spend with Ted. If you are not familiar with Ted Greene look him up on YouTube or invest in one of his books. He’s one of the great masters!!!

I love the way this turned out in “Cross Eyed Stare”. Such a cool raw riff in a odd time. Mike Bordin played his ass off 💥🤯! Brent knocked it out of the park with the lyrics and vocal melodies and Robbie sang his ass off. Twisted solo coming soon!
