We invite you to come JAM with us!
This JAM! Is for all levels from Beginners to Experienced. The level of play is across the board with creating characters, using props, to singing your favorite TV theme song. This is grownup Recess, come take a break and laugh and play with us on stage!
Join us in a FREE two-hour Improv Jam that layers Fun and play in the perfect improv sandwich. Starting at 2pm on March 24th we will play old and new games, sharpen your skills, and work out those comedy muscles.

Mark your calendar and lock in the dates! We are one week away for the biggest week in comedy in Florida.
The 6th Annual Orlando Comedy Festival will take place on October 1st and 2nd. This in-person, two-day Comedy Festival is featuring some of the best local and national improv groups and stand up comedians. All these shows and workshops will make this an amazing weekend full of laughs and interactive experiences. The workshops will be hosted by some of the industry’s BEST. It is an honor to have them teaching their craft and style at this year’s festival.
Not only will you be entertain by these talented funny people but you will also have an opportunity to meet then at the meet and greet in the lobby after each show.
This is a weekend not to be missed!

As we know things can change and get better before the festival happens, until then we will follow the CDC and Resort guidelines for everyone’s safety.

Improv Comedy Troupe
I want to put together a gay friendly improv comedy troupe. I was wondering how many people in the Dallas area would be interested in forming one. Like "Whose Line Is It Anyway"
I would have had over 10 years of improv comedy. I have taught many classes and workshops over the years. If you are interested but never had any experience no problem. I can teach.

The Management of the Orlando Comedy Festival has decided for the safety of all players and fans of the festival that we will be postponing this year’s festival. The original dates were June 26th and 27th.
We are working with our vendors for NEW dates this coming fall. Currently looking to be near the end of October. The decision to just postponed and not cancel was made because with everything we have all gone through we need to play, laugh and have fun more than ever.
Submission for the 2020 Orlando Comedy Festival will remain open until July 15th.
As we get updates we will post them and inform everyone to the new plans. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Matt Gervia the festival Manager. Until we see each other again, be safe

Hello, My name is Pj Pantaleo and I am getting ready to launch a chapter of Power2Improv here in Texas
I have 13 years of improv experience, and I am currently working my way thru the levels at DCH as is required.
I will be holding auditions in the near future for our local troupe we will be focusing on a form of the La Ronde, as well as short-form improv.
We will be submitting our name to the local theaters Dallas Comedy House and Stomping Ground Comedy for inclusion.

Power 2 Improv’s road to Power 2 Improv Texas
Power 2 improv began in Orlando, Florida in 2008 where a group of recent graduates of SAK Comedy Lab got together and formed a troupe. Matt Gervia and Pj Pantaleo are 2 of the remaining founding members, others have moved away or moved on to bigger and better things. Matt Gervia has been a driving force in the direction and growth of Power 2 Improv. Pj Pantaleo moved to Dallas, Texas in June of 2019 and is in the process of bring a branch of Power 2 Improv to Texas. “Power 2 Improv Texas”
Power 2 Improv is an improv troupe that has been performing all over central Florida for all types of clients, in an array of venues. The show has a high-energy, high-impact performance featuring talented professional performers who present a series of original characters, stories, skits, songs and dances based on the audience giving the actors suggestions (a favorite color, book, movie, etc).
Power 2 Improv has expanded to several forms of entertainment to include improv (long and short) puppets, streetmosphere (busker), and sketch. The show is in the style of “Whose Line is it anyway” where you don’t just watch our show you become a part of it. Our artists create an original action-packed comedy show on the spot that is entertaining and unique for all ages. Each show uses lots of audience volunteers on stage in various scenes and skits. The art of improvisation allows the players to customize to any audience and introduce various art-forms.
Charity and giving back to the community is at the heart of Power 2 Improv. Performing monthly for such organizations and groups as Give Kids The World, Ronald McDonald House, schools and communities centers. among others. Annual events for Autism awareness and others.
