I’m only posting a mini review here and I’ll post a full one on my blog tomorrow, because I can’t write everything I feel about this book in the amount of words a caption can be.

I never thought I’d love any of Emma Scott’s books more than the first book in her Lost Boys series but I was so sorely wrong because The Sinner, in my opinion, is her best work ever.

The plot is fantastic and keeps you so intrigued, Lucy was so lovable and the way she thought? I related to it so bad. I’ve never related to a character more than her. And where do I even begin with Cas? He is absolute perfection. I desperately need my own Cas. Lucy and Cas together were something I didn’t know I needed but now that I have them, it’s all I’ll ever want.

Emma’s writing is so poetic and beautiful. And it gets me every single time. She fits everything perfectly. I cried, I laughed, and I cried some more once the book ended because I desperately needed more.

She has one again proven why I call her my favorite author.

Everyone needs to read this book, you don’t know what you’re missing out on.

(I ended up ranting to Emma about how much I love this book and her reply made my entire day-hell, maybe my entire week or month.)
