Morning lovies! I’m reporting live from MEXICO. My husband and I snuck away for the first time in YEARS - to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary. Of course my anxiety had me up early but I was graced with this impeccable sunrise.

I’ll be back Friday! Wish me luck, trying to figure out how to relax, turn off all my alarms, and not jump to pick up a child and run to a practice somewhere.

The mad dash has begun.

I got a message last week asking if I could burn a recipe into a board. But not just any recipe, one in the handwriting of their late daddy.

What an honor to create this board. I prayed over it while burning this recipe. Writing in someone else’s handwriting was a little emotional for me.

No longer in a drawer, but proudly displaying a daddies handwriting in their kitchen.

When I said it was BLUE, I meant blue.

So so much better.

Small Birds Eye maple serpentine front dresser. The drawers and top were sanded and stained in Western Oak. The body was painted in Fusion Mineral Cathedral Taupe. A sophisticated taupe inspired by the architectural beauty of its namesake.

A few years ago I acquired a LARGE box of vintage postcards. I’ve had them tucked away for a while until a few nights ago and idea develop due to my insomnia.

This Downtown Annapolis postcard was postmarked 1915, while it could be trash in someone’s eyes to me now it has another life.

This stunning 1920s antique dresser has been given a new life! The body has been refinished in a rich Everett green, while the tops and legs are beautifully stained in Western Oak. We deep cleaned the original hardware to preserve its vintage charm, adding to the timeless look. Swipe to see the transformation!

Just another Manic Monday!

I have been painstakingly sanding every detail of this gorgeous curio cabinet for quite some time. I’m so excited to share a quick sneak peek before I put in the glass and while the shelves are drying, I washed this piece in a one-to-one paint to water ratio using cathedral taupe. Then I applied a thin layer of a antiquing glaze to give it that pottery barn. Look the back was painted in a muted green Bellwood to keep this piece bright and airy. She will be headed down for next weekends open market along with a six seater table and a handful of homemade decor items.

This little Bassett dresser is headed to for the September Sale!

The top was painted in Fusion Mineral Chateau and then taped off for the “dipped look”. The bottom was painted in my new personal favorite Fusion Everett the most beautiful green.

This gal is headed home tomorrow to a little girls updated bedroom. This dresser was painted in Fusion Casement, my go-to lightest warm white. Casement is a crowd favourite. Inspired by summer’s warm breeze through open windows. Fresh and forward. Then like a red ribbon on a package, the hardware was finished in a stunning gilded gold. Swipe to check out the before!

*le gasp* Yes, yes we painted this Ethan Allen Hutch. We updated this hutch in Fusion Mineral Cathedral Taupe. The yummiest of transitional Taupes. It takes on the both modern and traditional vibes to incorporate every changing season. It feels warm and calm at the same time.

The top was sanded and stained in Miniwax Provincial to match the homeowners hardwood floors.

The hinges were cleaned and gilded to match the updated hardware.
