It is with considerable sadness that we just been informed that, for health reasons, Moritz von Oswold will not be able to perform tonight at .ldn

We, Moritz and his team did everything we could to make it possible, but ultimately wellbeing comes first. Massive apologies to everyone who, like us, was super excited to see him perform tonight. Wishing him all the best, and thanks for your understanding

Moritz Von Oswald 🌚

A true pioneer of electronic-music, Moritz Von Oswald merged sounds from Jamaica’s reggae and dancehall tradition with those of Chicago house and Detroit techno, to form a radical new genre, dub-techno.

Championed under iconic aliases Maurizio, Basic Channel, and Rhythm & Sound (each formed alongside Mark Ernestus) dub-techno quickly became a mainstay throughout clubs and parties during the 1990s and 2000s, launching Von Oswald and Ernestus into the realm of historic game-changers in the world of techno.

His performance at .ldn will be his first London club-show in almost 3 years. Who knows when the next one will be?

A truly era-defining artist, .mu pushed the boundaries of experimental dance music globally for two decades and counting.

Releasing on Aphex Twin’s Rephlex Records in 1993/94, u-ziq has been an IDM pioneer since day, alongside the likes of Aphex and Squarepusher. Championing the drill’n’bass sound with ‘Lunatic Harness’ in 1997 and touring with Bjork in the late 90s, fusion is at the heart of his design.

With Plantet Mu he has since built one of the most important experimental-leaning labels in dancemusic, championing footwork and juke pioneers like Jlin, RP Boo and DJ Manny.

He joins us with a peak-time FOLD slot for one of his biggest London live shows in years.

It’s a 3LP bumper pack of music by written exclusively for the wipE'out'' video games in the mid-90s, alongside a series of razor-sharp reworks by the likes of u-Ziq, Kode9, Wordcolour, Simo Cell, Datasette, Brainwaltzera and James Shinra for modern perspective

wipE'out’’ was one of those cult games for loads of reasons, not least its connection to the underground electronica and rave scenes. The original European release included music from The Chemical Brothers, Leftfield and Orbital, and the Cold Storage originals captured minds with its dopamine-ridden blend of dnb and trance.

Jessy was due to headline our show this Friday 10 November at .58 . And having done everything we can to find alternatives, we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel this Friday’s event.

This is the first time in our seven years of promoting that we have had to pull an event. It’s a decision that’s not been taken lightly and which will come at some cost.

We’ve all been looking forward to this party for the longest, 3 of our all time favourites on the bill.
