We've all been shifted into a weird new existence lately and I'm trying to focus on positive output - work on the next EP has begun and will be posting the results of that as soon as I can!

About this Project
Christofer Elkjar is a Michigan-based producer and creative specter, his most-recent project ‘Figurative Ghosts’ delivers an inspired collection of traditional ambient atmospherics, woven seamlessly with modern post-rock influences.
Figurative Ghosts’ debut instrumental EP, ‘Dials, Controls, & Faders’ is the first of several planned releases due in 2020. Self-recorded, mixed, mastered, and released by Elkjar, this subtle yet incendiary EP presents ethereal soundscapes manufactured with lots of tape manipulation, assertive experimentation within droning resonance, then coupled with more essential standard instrumentation throughout.
‘Dials, Controls, & Faders’ imagines the perfect audible-tactile environment suited for the emancipated apparitions and psychonautic explorers alike, simultaneously emerging from the cracked infrastructure of the sonic metropolis mythically known as Detroit.
