Ridgewood Trail Cam
Wildlife that hangs out behind my garage in Ridgewood NJ spotted by my trail cam.
These are the more interesting vids from my trail cam. I check the camera about once a month and will continue to post interesting captures.
Check these out if you want to see what goes on in your backyard when you aren't looking.
It starts out slowly. Then one raccoon, then another. They start to play near the big tree in the background. By the end there are four of them.

Foxes eat bread too. You need to be patient for this one. Both foxes show up about half way through.

This series of vids shows how owls convene a parliament. It starts with just one and in this case ends with five.

So what do deer eat when snow covers the ground? The branches that have been pushed down by the weight of the snow.

In January traffic in the sanctuary was quite. This raccoon was the exception, and based on her girth, she seems to be doing very well.

The deer have enjoyed the back of my garage in the daylight or at dusk, but here is a series of vids that take place after dark, towards the end of November. Notice that they are eating the moss on the side of the neighbors garage.

You see nothing in this vid. You can hear some animal start to fight with the trail cam, and then the trail cam is twisted out of place. My guess is that it was a squirrel, because there is only about a foot distance between the garage and the camera lens, and a bird would have had to fly into the scene. Of course if you are a fan of Stephen King, you may have other solutions.
