HEROES AND LEGENDS 8 WAS CRAZY!

My fourth show of the weekend was the biggest and best Heroes and Legends Professional Wrestling event to date! If I had to guess I'd say there were about 1,200 fans for the evening but close to 3,000 fans through out the fan fest during the day! Man, they were packed to the gills in Fort Wayne!

Stellar roster who brought it!

Excellent staff that make a show of this magnitude a breeze.

Man if you missed it, you missed it.

See you at Indy Pop Con July 8!

25 years ago, WrestleMania VIII took place in Indianapolis! I think WrestleMania is long overdue to return to Indy, how about you? A recent interview with the mayor indicated that Indy may very well place a serious bid to host in 2020!

Sorry to hear of the passing of former WWWF champion, "The Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff. He was the man who silenced Madison Square Garden by ending the 8-year title reign of Bruno Sammartino.

Koloff would go on to feud with Dick The Bruiser in 1977, and winning the WWA Heavyweight title in Indianapolis.

In the 80's, he dominated the tag scene with Nikita Koloff in the Crockett-ran territory of the NWA, where they feuded with guys like Dusty Rhodes, The Road Warriors, and The Rock n Roll Express.

Later in life, Koloff would end up being a minister. He was a very talented man that could definitely get the fans to hate him! Rest in peace, Ivan.

Sorry to hear that Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka has passed away at the age of 73. Snuka was a HUGE part of the big boom period in the mid-80's. I believe the last time I saw him wrestle in person was when he defeated The Honkytonk Man at a WWF house show on July 20, 1989 in South Bend. What memories do you have of seeing Snuka in action?
