When I had newborn twins, the father nodded at our existence and not much more. He ask when we could have s*x again. I was burning so many calories from breastfeeding that I was quickly losing weight and became very ill. If it wasn't for one of his friends noticing my condition and taking care of me I'm not sure I would be here today.

I have almost died many times from Neglect. And now I am committing to myself. I am grateful for the human angels along the way who have saved my life. I also acknowledge that I need to do better for myself and not hand over that power to others.
