This new position will work to implement the county’s new encampment response policy, working with a variety of county departments and community partners to ensure a compassionate, coordinated, and consistent response to encampments on county land, such as parks and rights of way. It is a primarily an administrative role to coordinate outreach and cleanup efforts, with a small amount of time visiting and inspecting encampments.
