Donald Trump TOOK THE L!
He was convicted of falsifying business records to influence the 2016 presidential campaign Thursday in a historic trial that saw a former U.S. president face criminal charges for the first time.

A New York jury found Trump guilty of 34 counts, related to a $130,000 payment made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels. The prosecution had alleged Daniels was paid to keep secret a 2006 tryst she had with Trump in order to influence the results of the 2016 election, which Trump ultimately won.

The trial lasted a month and a half and was plenty eventful. In addition to the fiery testimonies of Daniels and Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen, Trump was held in contempt of court 10 times and fined $10,000 for violating a gag order against attacking people involved with the trial. Many Republican leaders, including House Speaker Mike Johnson, traveled to New York to speak out in support of the 2024 Republican presidential candidate.

CATMAN!!! YEAAAHHH!!!

Summer of ‘89 I was about 9yrs or 10yrs old.

My older cousins who played AD&D (so they were cool) occasionally let me join their party and even let me DM and make a map and they actually took it seriously and played it!
(the solid gold sword I had then find was super cool until they explained the soft and heavy properties of said metal and burst my bubble but to me it was one of thee best times of my life!

We often would play the different versions like AD&D “Oriental Adventures” (the D&D where u get to be ninjas and samurai and use katana and shureikns (how w u spell that?))

and one day my cousin brought home a new RPG book, it was BATMAN the role-playing game!

With kids age is rank, and of course my oldest cousin got to be Batman and then the next oldest got to be Nightwing, well, there was NO WAY I was about to be “The Boy Wonder”
(Robin was not “cool” u see)

so I flipped through to look for a character who was as cool looking as Batman or Nightwing and finding CATMAN!

I was so excited to have found such a cool character to play as!🤣😂 what did I know I was 10🤷‍♂️

and then I forgot about it by the end of the summer of ‘89 and I started middle school that school year and never thought about the RPG or CATMAN again for 30+yrs

then one day he just popped into my head and I started to wonder if I had made that memory up!

Bcuz I had never heard of or seen Catman again since that summer we played the Batman RPG
so I actually thought I may be misremembering…🤔

so I did a quick google search and of course found out the character was a villain of DC for decades!
Little known and obscure he’s had a recent resurgence in a comic titled Villains United wherein he is a member of a team of villains…united.

Then I found an older 6” DC figure that doesn’t quite fit with the 7” DC Multiverse collection…so I didn’t have a great figure representation for a childhood favorite!

UNTIL NOW!

The Toddfather in all his wisdom has seen fit to drop a Gold Label DC Multiverse Catman 7” figure and here he is in all its glory courtesy of my big homie Stew-Dog.

Trust me this only one of hundreds of gripes we have with this series inherently and on principle. I just had to rant about this after the new trailer today.

I was disappointed to say the least.
The first one, “Tales of the Jedi” was about a young Qui Gon and a Younger Dooku and that was brilliant bcuz they are characters I know and care about seeing their early years and a prequel is only great if it’s about something you are interested in.

I felt this season “Tales of the Empire” was just an ok story with just ok events and action but sadly it is about characters I hardly know bcuz they are hardly in any previous Star Wars mediums.

To sit through a story about the origin of a character we couldn’t possibly have been wondering about what they were like when they were young (like Qui Gon) or how they came to power (like Dooku).

It was a good idea, Dave. I hope the next one is called “Tales of the Sith” and they go Old Republic or at least a story about Darth Plagues and his young apprentice Palpatine would even be dope.

🙄I guess it’s the “Deadpool & Hugh Jackman” film…

I give much respect to Ryan Reynolds for putting the character above his own ego, but sadly Hugh is so insecure he STILL can’t wear the danm mask!?!
I’m sorry, I thought I had come to accept it but seeing these promo posters just really gets under my skin!
The worst thing is he will probably put it on for 2sec, make fun of it and take it off. 👎WHACK!
I’m sorry it’s just lame. Hugh is lame for that.
Oh and they remove the sleeves AND the shoulder pads!?! They just CANT do anything right or they refuse to be comic accurate bcuz they think it’s corny, ITS A SUPERHERO FLICK!! It can be corny!!
The costume in the comics is amazing and would look hella dope in live action but noooooo we gotta make it look high tech…🤦‍♂️ Take a lesson from the younger Ryan Reynolds and swallow your pride for 2hrs since you’ve already done 10+ films without the Wolverine costume on even once!
