Skin update 🤩

So I’ve been using the lumispa for 8 weeks now and I’m so happy with results. I’ve still had the occasional hormonal breakout but nothing like the daily ones I was getting before. My skin is softer, firmer and brighter. I’ve still got some work to do on the scarring but slowly and surely that is fading too. I’ve started using an exfoliating toner (I’ll pop the link below) which is helping and I do a mud mask 2-3 times a week. I actually really enjoy my skin routine now. Just a 2 minutes of me time 😂

My absolute favourite moisturiser!

I avoided moisturiser for so long because I have oily skin which was so wrong! By providing your skin with the moisture it needs it prevents your skin over producing oil as it’s getting all the moisture it requires, which in turn reduces breakouts.

Always pick a moisturiser with SPF. This one has SPF 30 and feels amazing on your skin. DM me for my discount link. 🎀

Why is moisturising important?

Moisturizing is an important step to maintain your skin's healthy cells and to protect it from irritation. By moisturizing your skin, you can reduce your chances of any skin problems arising. Facial moisturizers help balance your skin's complexion and prevents acne breakouts.

The basic rule of thumb is that you should choose your moisturizer based on your skin type. If you are oily or combination, a lighter texture (think lotion) will be better. If you are dryer, you need more nourishment (think cream).

75 percent of skin ageing is due to environmental factors, especially UV rays. By using SPF skincare every day, you can diminish the potentially damaging effects of UV rays.

Why is toner important?

This is my 1 month update. It’s so good to look back and see how much progress I’ve made as you don’t always see it in the mirror everyday.
I know this little device is pricey. It took me a while to take the plunge and buy it because of the price I’m not going to lie, but it is definitely worth it!!! And really when I add up how much I’ve spent on lotions and potions the last year it’s really not that bad.
Still a way to go with clearing up the scaring but so far so good. My skin hasn’t felt this healthy in years!!

I’ve been wearing make up today (quite rare these days🙈) so I took my make up off and had a quick wash and then I used the lumi.
