Hey everyone - and Merry Christmas.
Tonight a little pre Santa arrival treat to throw on while you’re trimming that tree - and hopefully, you’re around someone you love.
There have been two times in the history of my podcasting career that I’ve been truly moved by the production and presentation of a podcast. The first, is 1865 Podcast - Wondery's fantastic production headed up by my friends Erik Archilla, Stephen Walters, and Lindsay Graham. Props to those gentleman and the entire 1865 team. Go check them out.
But I did say there were two times that a podcast has truly moved me.
From writer/creator and producer Jason Usry, comes a story and a mythology that you need to hear to believe. Santa Maybe, a Criminal is one of the most original and innovative ideas in all of podcasting. You’re all about to get a crash course on how to commit to the bit. And your instructor is the head elf himself.
Like lots of conversations for this show, we’ve been talking offline about it for months. And now, just in the knick of time, Jason’s arrived to give us all a little Christmas Eve peek behind the curtain at both his production, and more importantly, the brilliance of the mind from which this all came.
"Seeing isn’t believing. Believing is seeing."
This is Jason Usry.
