After many gifts and lessons from the Green Isle, I have properly graduated from The Lir Academy and Trinity College Dublin with a Masters of Fine Arts in Theatre Directing 🎓I’m feeling an enormous amount of gratitude for my family, friends, and ancestors for continuously supporting and encouraging me to achieve my dreams, and I certainly could not have done this alone. I get to continue doing what I love but now I got MFA next to my name so talk to me nice 🤭

July 2022 | The ready set

This month I had the gift of working on four different theatre projects
1) I had my first reading of my first full play, Meditations on Somebodiness, directed by Eoghan Carrick at the Lir National Academy of Dramatic Arts in Dublin
2) I wrote a short piece called “Barbie, Girl” which was performed by at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Williamstown, MA
3) I assistant directed The Lost Lear written and directed by Dan Colley at The Riverbank Theatre in Newbridge, Co. Kildare, which will be premiering at the Dublin Theatre Festival
4) I have begun rehearsals on my Gradfest thesis production of Appropriate by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins at the Lir National Academy of Dramatic Arts in Dublin, which goes up (August 29-Sept 1)
I’m so thankful for the gift of coming together with beautiful artists to tell powerful stories.

Yesterday I FINALLY graduated from Harvard officially in person! This month I got the privilege to work with and on a devised theatre project about identity, and while doing that I got to learn more about my own identity and the legacies that I come from. I just want to thank my family (in every sense of that word) and the ancestors for eternal love and support throughout this journey!

Mama, I made it! 🤩• These are a couple pics from my graduation from Harvard College plus some hits from my final semester of college 🤯
I don’t know entirely what to say about the last four years of my life, but I can definitely say that I feel extremely fortunate to have been surrounded by some of the most innovative and inspiring people in the world during my college experience. This unforgettable period of my life is one that I don’t take lightly at all, and I just want to thank my family and everyone who supported me and guided me through it. Now that I’ve closed this chapter of my life, I’m so excited to start the next one in Dublin in the fall! In this new beginning, I hope to continue to share love with the people who I’ve met so far and give love to the people I meet next! ❤️
