In this episode, we discuss a bit about ourselves and our motivations for creating this podcast. For too long, the media on both sides have been polarizing the country and society has fractured as a result. The only ones that benefit from this fracture are the major networks that feed on the demagoguery. It's time to get back to the table and speak as united citizens of a great country. Just because we won't agree on everything does not mean that we can't build an understanding that leads to a compromise. We aim to be a part of that solution. We want to get back to a point where we can amicably disagree on topics and still fight for each other's rights. Little Girl is Beaten Up on School Bus
This is just wrong...outside of the obviously much older boy beating up on a smaller girl or the other boy(s) that jump in to participate in the beating. The adult driving the bus is nowhere to be seen. Granted, that adult could have broken up the fight off the video so we can give the benefit of the doubt there. The other children are screaming encouraging violence. Not one of them jumped in to try and stop this from happening. Society wants to place the blame on the school system, but this starts at home. What type of environment must that boy grow up in to think that this action is okay. We think that the negativity spewed out on social media has no victim, but it does. It creates a culture that inherently wants to record everything versus taking any action to make a difference. What died on that bus was a little girl's hope that somebody would step in to help. And that's probably the part that saddens me the most. What are your thoughts?
