‘Theory’ is a three-part song I wrote years ago (from the perspective of the earth Mother) about loss, the need for balance (especially when it comes to the use of fire), and calling for abundance of such balance, from certain directions, in the form of rain/water.

I have in my prayers, all of the places throughout the world suffering with a certain amount of heat/inflammation…too many to list here…but Eastern Europe is a major focus.

Cuz this is the time of year that my brother took his last breath…cuz people forget (but I never will)….cuz he should be remembered…cuz I love my brother even though he is no longer with us.

Just remembering…

Been crying most of the day, hence my swollen eyes. Now, in the backyard, while the sun is going down, I’m thinking of all the men and women...who we’ve lost...for our ‘sense’ of ‘freedom’...I think of how we’ve never really won a war if it means losing our ‘sons’ (and daughters).

Mourning/Honoring all of the fallen ones, international and domestic and everywhere.

This second cover “Good Goodbye”, by Lianne LaHavas, honors my mother, who died on January 21, 2020, just shy of her 68th birthday. Grateful for all the ways she touched the lives of those she loved and how she meant so much to them.

I begin the ‘opening’ of this page with this cover of Joni Mitchell’s ‘Blue’, in honor of my brother, Brian James, also known as Blue. I love and miss you brother.
