Hello everyone! 🌞 It’s been a little while, and I wanted to check in and share some updates. Since my last post, I’ve been working and spending lots of quality time with my family. 🌊😎
I’m still painting and creating, but at a much more manageable pace to allow myself some balance. 🎨

I’m also excited to share that tomorrow I’m starting a new full-time job back in the schools!
Good things are happening. 😊 I hope you are all having a wonderful summer. 🌸☀️

Excited to share that I’m finally set up at The Nickel Plate
The Nickel Plate brings WNY food, drink and culture together all in one historic location to celebrate what our community has to offer.
The artisan market allows you to support a wide variety of local WNY artisans! The space allows you to explore items from handcrafted décor, jewelry, art, apparel to jams/jellies, spices, cheeses and sauces. Oh, and don't forget the Buffalo staples - pierogies, and many more options.
The Nickel Plate will also have a full service bar offering a wide variety of local craft beer and wine and a full service menu for delicious eats served all day with ingredients sourced from local farmers and vendors.

The artisan market area opens this week and the restaurant/bar area will launch in the coming weeks! Stayed tuned for updates and announcements on their Grand Opening and given their page a follow to stay up to date! I’m really pumped to be a part of this!

Dear friends!
I hope this message finds you well. It's been a while since I've connected with you all, and I wanted to take a moment to share some important updates about the direction of my business.

Over the past few weeks I've recently been adapting to significant shifts in my life, such as starting a new job. My new position along with increased needs at home have have prompted me to reevaluate how I approach my dot art business.

Moving forward, I've made the decision to pivot my business focus slightly. I'll be dialing back on in-person pop-up events for the time being to allow myself more flexibility to balance my commitments at home and at work. This decision wasn't made lightly, but I believe it's the best way for me to continue creating and sharing my art while also prioritizing my well-being and commitments at home with my son.

This summer I plan to still participate in several major pop-up events taking place—keep an eye out for updates on those! Additionally, I'm looking forward to connecting with all of you through online sales on my page, as well as hosting new paint night events in the near future. Stay tuned for more details

I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for your continued support and understanding during this transition. Your enthusiasm for my art has been incredibly inspiring, and I'm excited to continue this journey with you, albeit with a few adjustments along the way. This shift will allow me to have a much healither work/life balance while freeing up more time to explore creatively and further my art.

Hey everyone! 👋
Let's talk about embracing imperfection in art. As a dot artist, I pour my heart into every piece, knowing that perfection isn't the goal. I rarely if ever use guidlines so my pieces are never perfectly symmetrical and are slightly off center. All too often my hands shake, and the dots aren't flawless – and that's okay! It's about the journey of creation for me, not just the destination of perfection.
I've had attendees at events remark on paint splatters or colors blending on my artwork, and occasionally they decline to buy a piece solely for that reason - and that's perfectly fine! I explain to them that even if I were to create a custom piece for them, I couldn't guarantee it would be flawless because these imperfections are a part of me.
By embracing imperfection, I allow myself the freedom to explore, experiment, and create without the crippling fear of failure. "Happy Accidents" can lead to the discovery of new styles and techniques which can further my inspiration in the long run. So here's to celebrating the beauty of imperfection and the joy of creating without constraints!
