In the fall, Jentsch realized cold mountains and dreary forests wouldn’t save anyone from the weary experience contemporary life was. The friendly Korg’s power of course wouldn’t solve any problems either, but some bassy relief was lurking deep down in its ancient circuits just waiting to be released.

This past year Jentsch took some long strolls through the abandoned development areas of Berlin. One day he found an old Korg synthesizer, carelessly thrown away in a garbage container on a construction site. “Please don’t leave me here” the Korg begged, “let’s make some music!” And so they did. Jentsch took the synth back to his lab and together they worked on new sounds for months and months on end. Now these tracks are finally completed.
