SCC BUYBACK SUMMER 2024 BUYBACK AUCTION DETAILS

Our Summer Auction biddable items will start rolling out to you today: July 10, 2024.

You may begin bidding on Monday July 15th at noon, EST, simply by posting your bid amount in the post comments under the item. Highest bid by Friday, July 19th at noon will win the item.

All items will be available for pickup at Pony Penning or pickup can be arranged from Chincoteague Island or from Tipson’s farm in Hughesville PA on an alternate date. Details are forthcoming. **FOR THIS AUCTION, ALL ITEMS WILL BE PICKUP ONLY WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ITEM #4 (THE PONY SWIM MODEL) AND ITEM #2 (THE RIPTIDE BLANKET)**

A little background to folks new to our mission. This auction will help us raise funds to purchase a buyback foal at the July auction on CI. Buybacks are ponies that are returning to Assateague, VA to repopulate the herd.

All proceeds paid for a buyback benefit CHINCOTEAGUE VOLUNTEER FIRE CO., which owns and cares for the Virginia herd. Do follow the fire company page for pony activity announcements.
