My Atrium Garden

Inside the Atrium, habanero and cayenne peppers I brought in from outside are still doing good. The green pepper is hanging on but has ants I noticed today. Move some things around and cleaned up outside garden this weekend.

Last outdoor harvest this season, going to freeze tonight.

Moved my habanero, red pepper and cayenne pepper indoors and cleaned up the outside garden. Decided to ditch the swiss chard and planted more kale. Also staring from seed, 2 space hybrid spinach, 2 arugula, 1 parsley and 1 bunching onion. Found a great place for the habanero and cayenne to dry.

My elderberry trees are looking good.

My flower box by front door is amazing, got to pick up them leaves for the compost.

Cut back my tomato plants and got a huge harvest this container is 18in x 18in taper.

Planted loose leaf and romaine lettuce. Planted oregano, basil and thyme in the front three. Kale and swiss chard in the two rounds. Repotted the sweet pepper and brought in baby broccoli and some other herbs from outside.

Atrium is ready for fall and kitten proof from my three new arrivals, let's see how long this lasts. I used screen material, thumb tacks, stapler and sleeping bag zipper.

Squash bugs have deviated my zucchini and squash plants. Left is just one of many leaves that looked like this, eggs and bugs. I cut all leaves and dunked in water to kill them pests. Right is what's left of plant.

I found this hornworm on my tomato plant. I learned that the white spikes are braconid wasp larve and when they hatch the wasps will fly around and kill all the hornworms. Hornworms are bad and love to attack plants in the night shade family.

Peaches don't look so good this year, I didn't take care of them like I should have. They are falling off already getting messy so will harvest whole tree this weekend to keep the bees from bomb diving me.
