Happy 2024 Everyone! Sorry we have been a bit slow on the first post of the year but it came by Snail Mail 🤪 We have so many things to look forward to this year, from loads of events to plenty of hobby projects!

MCM Comic Con London - October 2023!!

What a truly amazing weekend! Thank you so much to everyone who made the three days brilliant! It was a pleasure to meet so many avid painters and gamers, we really do love the community we get to hang out with!!

We are building an army!!

Reality - Opening a small business from scratch has so many ups and downs! At the moment reality is seeing plenty of favourites flashing up on Etsy but waiting for those sales to come through, reality is finding new ways to reach out to an audience through SEO and socials, reality is working out how much to price our products so that people want to buy them but so we can also make a tiny profit! Reality is doing a little happy dance when that order finally comes through! is all about small businesses so go make someone do that little happy ‘new order’ dance!!

From idea to product!! Something a little different for us but when we were approached to make a mini of a family home we couldn’t resist! From just some outdoor shots taken by the client to a rough online mock up and then into a final painted product with a label! This idea made such a gorgeous gift, something to treasured for years to come!

Big or Small… Little or Tall! Here at Everstromn Hobbies we have models of every size and our latest product releases are no exception! From our bigger egg carrying Grogu to our tiny book reading Mouse - head to our Etsy store to see what takes your fancy! Personally I love our Grogu/Potter mash up which is both tall and tiny 🥰

Planning (and being organised) is a really important part of what we do! Starting a business is so tough but making sure you have the right plans and processes in place makes a big difference! Whether it’s planning our next project, a big product launch or even our social media… we have an app for it!

Trial and Error: The journey into 3D printing hasn’t always been smooth! Learning about supports, dealing with print fails and also working out why they failed! Similarly, when it comes to painting, working out what works with what and how different techniques can effect the final peace has been a really interesting learn and full of trial and error! There should be no shame in showing the failures… it reminds us that we are only human!

Finishing Touches: Typically the final touches on a project are making sure tiny details stand out enough, adding extra elements to a diorama such as lights or using a fine black pen to add eyes or writing on a secret scroll!

Day Two: All About Us!

We are Jon and Flossy! We are a couple who live in Surrey, England and we run our business out of our garden office!

Jon is the creator and full-time brain of our brand and business. He does all the designing, printing and painting as well as creating YouTube content and organising the business side of things… he basically does it all!

Flossy is the part-time photographer and content creator of the team, if you see a photo or video of our work chances are Flossy has taken it! She is also the one writing this 🤪

Jon decided to take the jump into the full time world of small business ownership just under 6 months ago when he wanted to turn his hobby into something that could be shared and loved by people all across the globe! As some of our favourite YouTubers say “Rule Your Own World” so that’s what we are doing!

I have decided to join! the March Meet the Maker bandwagon!

Day One: Brand Origin!

The name ‘Everstromn’ has always been my avatar on games from childhood (playing RuneScape amongst other things). Therefore it just felt right to use that to establish a brand in the gaming/TTRPG/Fantasy space! I used to work 9-5 (although normally longer hours than that) and decided I wanted to make my passion/hobby into a business that I can be passionate about! I want to encourage/inspire others to make time for their hobbies, even if it’s just for a few small hours a week!

She may be small but she be fierce!! Who doesn’t love a teeny kick arse mouse 🐭

We decided to make this awesome dude pop with vibrant colours, making him stand out on the shelf!
