The Christmas Nostalgia
This collection is inspired by different elements of Christmas that stem from our memories - from mistletoes to Christmas tree ornaments, pine trees to a white winter wonderland - all these elements come together to create Christmas Nostalgia.

Christmas season is here! A season of cheer and hope, and I'm sure you are looking forward to it.
It's been quite an unexpected ride for most of us this year. The world has faced something none of us were ready for: uncertainty, financial struggles, health care collapses, social unrest, recession, job loss, depression and domestic violence. In the beginning of this year I personally dealt with the loss of a job unexpectedly.The idea of change and slowing down terrified me. It wasn't easy to digest but I believe there is a purpose for everything in our lives. And I chose to believe that there was a reason for this season as well.
With the Christmas season just around the corner, I was reminded of the many good things it came with - joy and laughter, Santas in red, colorful Christmas trees, holidays with family and friends (although this year it might look a little different), lots of food, plum cakes and wine, Christmas movies and hot chocolate! (I think I'm already getting lost in those thoughts there!)
But I was reminded that we often forget that the main reason we celebrate this season is Christ. He came to save us from all the mess that we are capable of getting entangled in. He came to give us hope and a path in an uncertain world. Hope in whichever season we are in.
And just as seasons pass from summer to autumn and winter to spring, let's hope that the season that was 2020 has passed as well, and that we have grown stronger than we were yesterday.
Though this year didn't go exactly as I expected it to, hope has allowed me to let go of some things to receive new things. was one of those new things for me.
Stay tuned for exciting, colorful and merry designs and may they bring you hope just as the message of Christmas does.
Santa on a snowy Christmas Eve!
What if Santa like most of us has been been binge eating and watching during the lockdown days and has trouble sliding down the chimneys this Christmas? He might have to think of creative ways to enter in!!
This design is part of my Christmas theme "Snowy White Christmas".
This is one of my first attempts in creating an illustration with a story line. Hope it cheers you up. I hope to continue to learn and try out new things that would challenge me.

When the color is gone and it all seems a blur
When the lines aren't straight and scribbles take over
When pain predominates and all you feel is loss
I hope you look closely and find peace in the chaos
The Scribble series represents all the chaos that has been happening around us in 2020. It's a simple reminder for us to pause, quieten our hearts, and ponder on the beauty that lies in the midst of all the chaos. This scribble art stands to give hope in the midst of chaos.
It's definitely not easy to distract ourselves from all the disappointments that this year has brought us. But we can remind ourselves and others that in the midst of all this, we can find peace in knowing that things will get better. I'm reminded of this verse in the bible John 1:4-5 which talks about Jesus. "In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." So, tomorrow will be a better day. There is a light at the end of this tunnel. And that the sun will not fail to rise even for one day.
Be still my soul and find peace in the midst of this chaos.

Find "peace" in "chaos".
2020 has been a year where way too many unexpected events shook the world. No matter which part of the planet you live in, the pandemic and economic recession must have knocked on your door like an uninvited guest. The domino effect of this is seen from the loss of jobs of millions of people across the world to the breakdown of healthcare systems; and for many people, from the loss of loved ones to an increase in domestic violence.
This chaos led me to create something that represented what was happening all around me. This scribble art stands to give hope in the midst of chaos.
