Sometimes we need to take a step back from the never-ending commotion going on in our minds. Practicing mindfulness can help us get re-centered and be more aware of our experiences without judging them.
To start, try asking yourself these questions:
πΏ How is anger/sadness/stress/happiness present in my life right now?
πΏ What makes me feel happy?
πΏ What thoughts or beliefs am I holding onto that I want to let go of?
πΏ What is the most important thing I need to do today?
Practicing mindfulness is a powerful mental health tool you can use to transform your life! It's a great way to reduce stress, boost your mood, increase self-awareness, and practice self-growth.
The best day to make a change is today. β€οΈ Online health coaching might be right for you if: β¬οΈ

I can't emphasize how powerful being outside is! When I'm having an off day, I always feel better after spending some time in my garden or taking the dogs on a walk.
I think being outside is so therapeutic because it makes us prioritize the things that really matter... When you look at all of the beauty outside, other problems just don't seem as pressing.
How are you spending time outside this week, friends?
This is your daily reminder to keep moving forward!
Some days may be better than others, but every day you do the best you can.
You are strong. You are resilient. You are a warrior. πͺ
Reading is one of the best escapes! There's nothing better than exploring new worlds through books. π
What's your favorite book genre? Let's start a discussion down in the comments!
How is your day starting, friends? π€
After you check in with yourself and how you're feeling, take a moment to express gratitude. It could be for anythingβhaving great friends in your life, a roof over your head, or even just being able to enjoy a hot cup of coffee.
This simple practice can have a huge impact on our lives! When we take time to focus on what really matters, we no longer sweat the small stuff. π
It's time to celebrate some wins! Check out a few of the awesome successes that were shared at last week's Resilience Coaching Group! β¬οΈ
β
Feeling lighter due to letting go of an unhealthy relationship
β
Successfully moved locations
β
Having success on the Cowden protocol with emotional relief

Steadily on LDN with acidophilus and feeling better
β
3 good days of normalcy
What's been your biggest win this week? Let me know in the comments below so I can celebrate with you! π
We're all holding onto things that other people wouldn't understand.
We're all experiencing our own unique ebbs and flows.
We're all having experiences that aren't shown on the outside because we're dealing with them internally.
We're all doing so much more than people realize.
All this work that we're doing may not be visible to others, but it's just as meaningful as the work others see or know about.
Remember to acknowledge the work you're doing that isn't getting acknowledged by anyone else. It's important. π«
Journaling is a great way to sort out your thoughts and feelings! I love journaling to declutter my mind and relieve stress. π
There's something about organizing your thoughts, worries, hopes, and fears into words that is good for the soul and changes how you approach obstacles.
If you've been struggling with anxiety or depression recently, I highly recommend putting pen to paper. It doesn't matter what you write, just write... I know it will help you feel better. π€

Sometimes, letting go of trying to heal and simply permitting yourself to live in the present moment is healing in itself.
Explore those simple, ordinary moments that make you feel alive. Then allow yourself to create more of them.
When we embrace life one moment at a time, we can find healing in the most unexpected places. β
Is anyone else feeling overwhelmed this week? πββοΈ
When things get difficult, it's important to remind ourselves that we can't always solve a problem immediately. If a solution doesn't present itself right away, take a step back, let it go for that moment, and return to it when you're in the right frame of mind to tackle whatever you're facing.
Something as simple as taking a walk, having some fun in your garden, or sitting in the grass and soaking up the sun can give us the clarity we need! β¨
Are you experiencing emotional bluntness or muted emotions? Here are 2 simple ways to get relief.π
1. When you feel numb or empty, safely stimulate one or more of your senses. This may include cuddling with a stuffed animal, taking a warm bath or shower, gripping a piece of ice, or eating spicy or strong-flavored food.
2. Try getting back into activities that you once enjoyed. Even if you donβt feel the same amount of happiness that these activities used to fill you with, they can still provide a boost in mood and open up your emotional range!
Remember to keep taking things one day at a time. π€
Do you feel unorganized with your health and nutrition?

This time of year, I'm so grateful for the sunshine. βοΈ Let me know what you're grateful for in the comments! π€
Something I love to do on my morning walks is practice mindfulness. It allows me to focus on my senses (what do I see, hear, and feel?) and reconnect with nature. π I always feel more grounded afterward!
Do you have a morning routine you love? I want to hear about it! Describe your favorite morning routine in the comments below.
It doesn't have to be that way! There are real, practical solutions to create a health regimen that can help you get your life back.

Have you ever noticed that you feel more present and tuned in to the world around you when you're on vacation? βοΈ
That's because when you travel, you're breaking your normal routine! Instead of functioning on autopilot, you're experiencing new things and being more mindful of your surroundings. This can help reduce stress and increase happiness. β¨
If you start to feel discouraged or stuck in your routine, try finding a small outing or overnight trip nearby to get out of your house. A fresh change of scenery can help you find a new perspective!
Healing doesn't always look the way we think it does... in fact, sometimes it doesn't look like it's even happening at all.
When we stop searching for it, we allow healing to come to us naturally. We can then start to see it everywhere, in everything we do.
There's so much joy to be found in the present moment. Give yourself permission to live your life one moment at a time! π
Between all of the emotional ups and downs, fluctuating symptoms, and feelings of overwhelm that come with Lyme Disease, it's often difficult for others to understand what we're going through.
That's why it means so much to me to have such a strong support systemβI'm so grateful for all of you!
Remember: Having a bad day doesn't take away the good days.

The members of our Resilience Coaching Group have had some awesome successes this weekβlet's take a moment to celebrate them! π
β
I could talk myself down from panic when symptoms reoccurred
β
I went from not being able to walk upstairs to walking 1.5 miles
β
I know I can handle going back to work
β
My gut has continued to be good
β
Yesterday I was physically able to drive and go to the dentist without fear.
What's been your biggest accomplishment this week? Comment below so we can celebrate with you!
Are you looking to get more active? You donβt have to do it alone! Having a workout partner can make you more accountable and give you the extra motivation you need. Even my dogs prefer exercising together. π
Look for someone who is positive, has similar fitness goals, and inspires you to be your best!
It's so important to set goals! Even setting small goals gives us a plan that we can stick to and a sense of structure that keeps us moving forward. Plus, who doesn't love the sense of satisfaction you get from accomplishing your goals and checking them off your to-list? β
My goal for today is to take a long walk with my dogs. What's yours?
Reminder: Just because we think something should come easily doesn't always mean that it will. Simple acts can be courageous! Even though the world may not always make it feel that way, when we take a step back and recognize where we're coming from and what we're capable of, we can be proud of every accomplishment we make. π«

My dogs mean the world to me! Not only do they bring me countless moments of joy every day, but their unconditional love is also a great reminder that we should all aim to be a little more kind, compassionate, and understanding. π€
With Lyme Disease, some days are worse than others, but it's so important to maintain a positive mindset and keep moving forward!
Even though most people don't realize what we go through on a daily basis, we can always be there to support one anotherβthrough our darkest moments and our brightest days.
Stay strong! You are not alone. π

Practicing gratitude can change your health! π In clinical studies done by Harvard and Berkley, gratitude has been shown to improve the psychological well-being of those who simply focused on what they were grateful for over what was frustrating them. They were happier, had healthier relationships, and developed a mental resistance to depression! π
Here is a simple way to practice gratitude daily:
When you wake up, take a few minutes to write down three things that you are grateful for. π It can be as simple as being grateful for the cup that you're drinking from or the job that you have.
Let me know how this simple practice changes your day!
Whether it's a five-minute rest or a week-long vacation, we all need to take a break sometimes! One of my favorite ways to rest is getting outside and spending time in my garden.
