Just finished. Mixed stone with Pumptek beads. Super hard to photograph this spooky fire cracked agate. Zoom in to see the intricacies. Pumptek beads are fossilized wood, normally palm wood. I used also some white jade and tiger eye jade. Finished with Hill Tribe Silver and a 925 silver clasp.
Tibetan turquoise with shell heishi and Venetian beads.
Mixed Antique carnelian
Jasper and with Hill Tribe Silver leaves
Antique Venetian "Peacock" Millefiori with Bohemian Kakamba and snake beads.

I’ve been wanting to sit down and work with some copper elements I got years ago from Patricia Healey and extra motivated this week because she’s coming to Salt Lake for the bead and gem show this weekend. Here’s today’s progress. The center elements are hers, the rest my own choices in collaboration.
Authentic North American turquoise from the Sleeping Beauty mine, combined with antique Venetian lamp work beads, late 1800's. Tiny coordinating Venetian beads in between all the elements. This turquoise mine located in Globe, Arizona closed in 2012. Finished with Thai Hill Tribe Silver and a 925 silver clasp.

I just finished this one using three sizes of the blue vintage Czech Kakamba beads, with some of my hoarded old Venetian fancy beads with a blue accent.
I had fun creating this fusion piece using turquoise, vintage Czech kalamba beads, antique Venetian green chevrons and some shell heishi. SOLD

Here is a set of slides created by a bead associate that explains the methods used to make glass beads.
This is a very informative set of slides that explain Glass beadmaking techniques and types.
Some mostly unrelated projects this week. Ideas and elements I have been meaning to explore. ALL SOLD.
Some of my pieces this week
SOLD.
Goddess pendant with dark aqua stone, seeds, and a pair of etched stone beads in the style of ancient dzi beads. Glass Goddess bead by Carmella. This dark aqua/teal color of the composite stone beads created just the right mood for her. I have a little stash of these light colored seeds from an island/tribal necklace I had taken apart and they were just the right size and color to brighten and highlight. Bead therapy today.
More in my series of gender neutral multi cultural pieces for an active lifestyle. 17 inches.
Hindu Goddess amulet with amber beads. Natural amber beads with faceted estate amber. Very lightweight. 17 inches.
This week’s projects. Ready for Saturday Market.
