Where we, as women, put our feelings and needs and do not get judged as much as we did years ago.
Some said that a girl can't be a boss or be in karate, but as a green belt, I can say that Women can lead, and we lead much better than some men do...(being honest here) I mean, just look at how two girls in this sport , they are mighty women that I look up too!
Here is a quote to leave at the end of this post.
If your actions create a legacy that inspires others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, then you are an excellent leader.
We will be heading to St Leo This Saturday with our team SKF. And we will be filming another vlog, so check out our youtube channel and here for more updates.

The karate twins' story: How we started karate training and why we love it
Hello, everyone. Ever wonder why we love karate so much?
Let us explain.
We started karate two years ago, back in 2020. We were 19, and when We went to the first class, We were unsure what to expect. Yes, we were a little nervous!
We wondered if we would be able to pass that first level. We thought Rebekah and I might stay a white belt forever and do awful in classes. Maybe the teacher would hate both of us if we messed up. But our current level, orange and green belt, proves that you can move up in the ranks fast by working hard.
We started a month before the world shut down (in other words, Covid hit). Was it easy for us? No! We did most of our classes over Zoom. However, sometimes our internet connection didn't hold, and our video lessons ended abruptly. When that happened, I (Abigail) was not at all happy. I cried because we couldn't do karate, and Rebekah was laughing away.
Rebekah still laughs to this day about thinking back to that day.
Our teacher was wonderful to my sister and me during those hard times practicing. He was always there for us when we needed him the most. He encouraged, corrected us, and provided the training we needed to excel.
To this day, he is still a wonderful friend of ours
Thank you to my mom and dad for encouraging me to do better karate. And to my brother, who always ensures we get to our classes.
Thank you for reading about us; leave a comment below on what you think of karate. And ask us any questions you may have, and we will be happy to answer them.
From Rebekah and Abigail, AKA, The Karate Twins.

Attack Levels in Shotokan Karate.
There are three basic attack levels in Karate β Jodan, Chudan, and Gedan. In English, we would call them high, middle, and low. Letβs unpack that concept.
basic attack levels in Karate β Jodan, Chudan, and Gedan
Jodan.
Jodan refers to the upper area of the body. Blocks or attacks going to the head or neck are going to the Jodan level.
Chudan
Chudan refers to the middle level, which is defined as from the neck to the belt.
Gedan
Gedan refers to the lower level and is defined as the area from the belt to the knees.

How to count in the japanese language looks tough to learn, but once you count the numbers out more than three times it's a lot easier to say them.
It took me about two weeks to learn all of them and it was a bit longer for my twin to learn how to count in Japanese.
But now that we knew how to do that, we both can count on this language much better. Oss!!l
