Worry stones

What is a worry stone?
A smooth rock, gemstone, or piece of clay and can vary in size from a thumbprint to palm size.
They can also be called fidget stones, soothing stones, sensory stones, or thumb stones.

History of worry stones.
It is said that our ancestors discovered worry stones by picking up a smooth rock and began fiddling with it. Native Americans passed them down through generations.

How do they work?
According to cognitive behavior therapy, a worry stone helps support meditation and self soothing exercise. Worry stones help counteract negative comforting habits like nail or lip biting, pulling or twirling your hair, picking at your skin, etc.
Gently move your thumb back and forth over the surface of your worry stone while focusing on positive affirmation. This act may be simple but it will help release physical tension, ease worries and anxieties. After a few minutes you should feel a sense of calm and renewed focus.

Worry stones are a discreet way to manage anxiety while in public. Just keep a stone in your pocket and rub it to help melt away anxieties.

Worries stones can be used anytime and anywhere. Just make sure you have one within reach for when you start to feel the anxiety or stress starting to build up.
Even just being in your pocket or purse, having a worry stone or worry stones with you will do wonders to your way of thinking.

Here are some keychains I’ve completed so far this month. If interested in any of them message me - I will add items to my shop in a couple weeks. Single sided keychains* (all of these are) are $5.

I will do custom items too (as long as I can find a pattern) just send me a message.

*all single sided keychains have felt glued to the back of them

A friend challenged me to creat 15 bracelets in the month of February. Here they are. The 12 in the one photo will be listed in my shop soon (message me if interested in any of them). The Ukraine flag bracelet is available for a small fee to cover costs & time only (not looking to make a profit on those). And the heart and baseball bracelets I am not happy with so they are now cat toys 😂
