Do you have a baking area.? Get all your baking items together so you are not running around with your head cut off. (matter of speaking)

Think about all the cookbooks you have. Do you have too many? Can you let go of some that you are no longer using. You can find many recipes on the internet now. I suggest limit your cookbooks to one shelf in the cabinet or one shelf on a bookshelf.

Do you have a place for the coffeemaker. Try to zone your coffeemaker with your mugs, and coffee items in one location. This will save you steps and have everything together.

Make sure all your pantry fits in one location. If you cannot fit everything, it might be too much inventory. Also look for expired food so you can have all your pantry items together nicely.

Do you have a snack area? Get all snacks together and put in one place. Or you may have different spots in the house for different people in the home. Hahaha. So your children does not get in your snacks.

Cups and Mugs
Do you know each cabinet and shelf is a container?
First, wash each cup and mug.
Second, put away the cup and mug. Do they fit nicely? Is there some you are not using? If you have not use them in the last year, I would suggest donating the ones you do not love or no longer using. Each mug and cup should fit nicely. Make sure that all trash and whatever does not belong in this space is gone.
You may prefer your cups and mug to be in the dish drainer. That is okay too, But the ones in the cabinets should fit nicely without falling over.

Dishes
Did you know each cabinet and shelf is a container?
First wash the dishes.
Second, put away your dishes. Do each dish goes in nicely.? If it does not, either rezone your dishes to another cabinet, or look at each dish. Are you not using some of them? If not using, I suggest donate the ones you are not using.
Each dish should go in the cabinet nicely and not falling over. You may want to buy a small shelf divider so you can have more space. Make sure all trash and anything that does not belong in the space is out.
You may prefer your dishes to left out in the dish drainer. That is okay. But the ones in the cabinet should fit nicely without falling over.

Storage Container
Each cabinet and each drawer is a container. If you have too many and it exploded and falls out, you have too many. Please donate some so your stuff does not fall out when you open the cabinet door or the opening the drawer.
I prefer to keep my lids on with the container. Dawn from the Minimal Mom said it is easier to find when you put the lids on after when you put dishes away. Secondly, it helps on not having too many container, just the right amount. Try to put the lids on when you put them away. When we have too many, our food gets spoiled in the refrigerator. When you have enough to go in your space without falling out, you may have the right amount you need. You may have to decide where to store them so it will fit nicely.

If you are not a business owner, I suggest shred your tax papers that are over seven years. If you are a business owner, you might want to ask your tax person, how long to keep tax papers if you are audit. A client told me that they was audit past seven years.
Spices
Here are ways if you like your spices to be organize outside or inside of the cabinet. There are many different ones to choose from depending on your style. If you like to find about more about this, contact me.
Have a great weekends with your family and church family. No post on Saturday and Sunday. Remember that is when we celebrate Jesus Resurrection.

Small Appliances
I keep my small appliance under the sink. Do you prefer your appliances out to be seen? This depends on your organizational style. If you like to more about this, contact me.
Do you have any small appliances you are not using? Do you have too many? Do you have a wish list for something? Can one small appliances can be multi-tasker instead doing one thing?
Have you use a particular small appliances in the past year? If not, I would suggest sell it or donate it.

Pots and Pans
Did you know that each cabinets and drawers is a container?
From the pictures below, you can see that all my pots and pans cannot go in the drawer. I put the pots under the sink, and the pans in the drawer. I only have four pots because I have four burners.
Look at your pots and pans. Do you have plenty? Do you have too many? Look through them and see if you are not using some of them. Do you need to replace some of them. If you cannot fit pots and pans in your space, you may need to come up with an idea like I did or you may have too many.
Have you use a particular pots and pans in the last year? If you have not, I would suggest donate or sell it.
Do you prefer to have your pots out or put in cabinets or drawers? This might depend on your organization style. If you like to find out more about this, contact me.
This week and next week we are going to zone our kitchen. This room is seen a lot when we have company over.
Zones are the following:
Dishes
Cups or glassware
Utensils
Pantry
Pots and Pans
If you are a coffee lover
Office supplies if you prefer in the kitchen
Etc.
Think about your zoning for today.
Before you zone, try to find 10 items that does not belong in the kitchen. Could be trash or recycle, donations, or simply does not belong in the kitchen and take it to that room. If you can get ten items or more, more power to you.
Go on a scavenger hunt to find ten or more items in the kitchen to find. If you have children, this could be a game for them as well.
