Being a woman in today’s society is so incredibly difficult. The constant fear of not being “pretty” enough, “skinny” enough or just being judged period — it’s exhausting.
I’m trying my best to get those useless words out of my everyday vocabulary because I have new priorities. I ONLY want to focus on being 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙮, 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙏𝙍𝙊𝙉𝙂.
For those who have struggled with body image, know that you’re not alone. I’ve struggled for my entire life and it takes time to heal. Be proud of what you’ve got and stop wasting precious time wishing you were unflawed. Our bodies are amazing and something that we should be grateful for. 💛

I’ve been on a huge salad kick lately because I fuel my body with veggies (I struggle with eating them) and it keeps me full through most of the day.

Every year I create my new years resolutions and I normally just keep them in my head, but I came across .fitfluencer post the other day regarding a “Vision Board”. Well, I absolutely LOVED the idea and decided to give it a shot.
Let’s be real, 2020 was a rough year and I did not meet a single goal of mine from the previous year. So instead of creating these crazy goals that I probably wouldn’t achieve in 2021, I thought that I needed to cut myself some slack for surviving this past year and create goals that are realistic and achieveable. In other words, I reallllly don’t wanna set myself up for failure.

LOW POINT SNACK (2sp)
Shrimp cocktails are one of my favorite, healthy, low point snacks. I always have them in my house because you can literally have 39 fresh shrimp for only (1sp) 🤯
I like to pair mine with some fresh squeezed lemon and a tiny bit of cocktail sauce for an additional (2sp)
Also, for any of you Costco lovers - I get their large shrimp cocktail package and it’s SO good & fresh!
Pull Apart Pie 🥧
Can’t decide if you want Apple, Blueberry or Cherry Pie???? Why not have them all in one!!! 😉
Take (2) pre-made Pillsbury pie crust and use a champagne flute (or something similar in size) to make the circles.
Add some egg wash onto each piece and then place your pre-made pie filling within each circle — I used Duncan Hines but any brand works!
Pinch the sides and place onto your dish. I sprayed my pan prior with some baking spray.
Bake at 400° for 25-35 minutes. ENJOY 🥰

Meatloaf Monday ft. Skinnytaste 🤩
Tonight I made Gina’s Bacon Topped Petite Turkey Meatloaf with BBQ Sauce — it was SO dang good.
I paired this with roasted broccoli and tater tots! It’s safe to say that I’ll definitely be adding this into the weekly rotation.

So first off, this is an egg sandwich on steroids. Scratch that, a very delicious egg sandwich on steroids LOL. 🤤
But when the waitress put it down, I realized that I could enjoy the entire meal without killing my daily/weekly points. So I decided to remove the top bun and only have a few potatoes. Normally I’d eat EVERYTHING on the plate (full or not), so today I’m proud of myself. ☺️
