Can we talk about charcuterie for a second?

I have a love/hate relationship with charcuterie. But, before you jump down my throat, it’s not for the reasons you might think.

Since I wanna end the post on a positive note : Here’s what I’m not a huge fan of. They’re expensive, and hard to justify making on a regular basis. I mean, you could make a pasta dish that’ll feed you and your partner for a week at a fraction of the cost of making a small charcuterie board. Another thing, most of the time, a lot of ingredients go to waste. There’s always something that doesn’t get eaten and I always feel like half the board is just sitting there after you’re full

What do I like about them? Charcuterie boards are (for lack of a better term) adult lunchables and I LOVE that. You take simple ingredients and put them together easily to make a delicious meal (or a snack) that will satisfy even some of the pickier eaters. I love how simple they are to make and yet they’re so delicious. It’s a light meal without you having to really do anything other than put ingredients on a cutting board.

Tonight I made a little charcuterie board for dinner that was on a cutting board maybe a food long and four or five inches wide and that was the perfect size for the two of us. The only thing we needed extra were some crackers but other than that nothing went to waste AND we still have ingredients for another board which made it significantly less expensive than if I had decided to do a huge board for just two people. We would have ended up throwing half of it away.

I know I rambled on a little bit, but moral of the story? Make yourself a small charcuterie board from time to time, that way you can save your ingredients and get two meals because these things are pretty delicious :)

Loving this apple tart recipe I came across last month, it’s the perfect recipe to start sprinkling in now that it’s October and after a little bit of tweaking I’m happy to say it’s ready to be “Bunches Approved!”

This is another one that I have a hard time calling a “recipe” because it’s so easy that it doesn’t seem like it should be right that it’s just a whole new recipe 😂Head over to the blog to try it out!

Try this honey apple tart and let me know what you think? Is it fall enough for you? Or should I make some new fall recipes for you to try?

Coming at you today with my Poor Man’s aioli recipe! I love this one because it’s an easy way to add just a little bit of flavor to just about anything. I put this stuff on fries, steaks, as a way to spice up the standard mayo in a burger and much more!

I have three types that I usually make, lemon dill, siracha, and garlic!

They’re all super easy to make (like easy to the point where I have a hard time justifying this as a recipe 😂) and easy to store too in case you make too much! I have these small containers that fit my poor man‘s aioli perfectly in case of any leftovers plus since you‘re not storing it with the leftovers of your meal you don’t have to worry about accidentally heating it up with said meal ☺️

It’s Monday and the beginning of the week, plus almost the beginning of October and I am not ready for that 😭 but I do love fall and I’ve started working on some delicious fall recipes that I can’t wait to share, but in the meantime I wanna learn more about you!

What’s your favorite thing to eat in the fall? What’s your favorite fall activity?

I personally am a huge fan of corn mazes and anything apple flavored 🥰

Today I've got the best deviled eggs you'll ever have are hitting the blog today.

I started making these years ago from watching my mother's husband make them from a recipe that his mother left him. While it was never written down (until now) I always kind of remembered the base recipe and tweaked it from there. I promise once you make these for your next family occasion you'll be the only one allowed to make deviled eggs 😜

It's time for another recipe!

This one is a popular one in our house and lasts just a few days whenever I make it.

I love how easy and delicious this recipe is. It's no bake so you just put all the ingredients into the pan and stick it in the fridge!

Hey there!

I know I missed a few days, BUT I'm back and ready to share some awesome recipes!

First up: One Pot Chili Mac, this stuff is so hearty and easy. Plus it's vegetarian which makes it pretty cheap to make. Plus if you're vegan this bad boy is super easy to make vegan, just swap out the cheese!

Since today I'm doing a lot of prep for some future recipes, I thought I'd share a little bit about the process behind how I come up with my recipes!

Typically I search through Pinterest for things I'm looking for, like recipes with garbanzo beans, dump recipes. Pretty much whatever I'm feeling for dinner. Once I find one that looks pretty good, I make it a few times. The first time, I make it exactly as the recipe says. Usually this means that that dinner is pretty bland 😂

Then the next time I make it is when I start tweaking. The first thing I do is up the spices, for some reason anytime you go on Pinterest it's like "oh 1/4 tsp salt" I'm sorry, but what is that gonna do? The answer: nothing. Then once the spice level is good I'll adjust the techniques or ingredients. I have two recipes that I'm currently working on that had no base originally. For example: I make a baked shrimp scampi where the original recipe didn't have noodles. It was just shrimp in a pan with some bread crumbs. I added noodles (and a few other things) and it changed the entire thing.

Anyway, once the recipe is pretty perfect (I do reserve the right to adjust things as needed 🥰) I'll write it down, make it, photograph it, and then serve it for dinner. It means a lot to me that most of the things that I photograph and make aren't wasted. I can't always guarantee this, but I do my best. That's why when you look at the images on my website, they look a lot more like what your food would look like if you made it, because that's pretty much exactly what it looked like when I made it.

Anywho, I've got some delicious recipes coming at you next week and I hope my rambling made some sense and you get a little bit more of an idea as to how I come up with recipes.

I will admit, not all of these started on Pinterest. The next recipe to hit the blog is not something you'll find on Pinterest!

Happy Tuesday! Or really Monday since a lot of my American friends had yesterday off :)

I’m back from my Bachelorette weekend that was full of delicious foods!

Today I’m sharing my Instant Pot shredded chicken recipe! This one is a staple in my house since you can make it early in the week and use it as a base for a ton of different recipes all week long!

Head over to bunchesmunches.com/blog/instantpotshreddedchicken to get the recipe!

I will eventually be making a crock pot version too so those who don’t have an instant pot can still make this :)

p.s. I‘ve got some questions for you coming on my stories if you wouldn‘t mind answering them!

Coming at you this Saturday with a soup recipe, I love this one because it’s a little different than anything I normally make and still soooo good!

This soup is chock full of flavor and has a ton of nutrients!

I’m a huge soup fan, so totally expect to have a ton of soups featured this blog!

It’s time for another recipe!

I’m so excited to share this recipe, it’s one of my favorites AND was the first recipe I ever shared to Pinterest!

Head over to the blog to take a peep at some Lemon Basil Salmon, this recipe is crazy easy and baked to perfection, you never have to worry about your salmon being dry, plus you can sub basil for parsley and it’s still pretty good!

I sometimes like to serve this with my parsley smashed instant pot potatoes (I’m still working on photographing this one, but it’s coming to the blog soon!) and some grilled or roasted asparagus to add a little bit of veggies to the mix 🥰

Happy Saturday!

I'm so excited to share my first recipe with y'all!

Air Fried Oreos! This one is super simple and is ALWAYS a hit (unless someone doesn't like Oreos, but I mean really, who are those people?)

Check out the link in my bio to see my newest recipe!

Pro tip: these are awesome using just regular Oreos, but try some fun flavors like fudge covered or carrot cake to get a little bit of extra flavor!
