You guys are awesome! We've just cracked the $1000 mark in funds raised from videos and photos from the three days .

I will have run 1 Wednesday finished tonight. I have created another section for run 2 Wednesday so I can upload those there.

We are using these as a fundraiser for our SprintDog track.

Substitutes! We do not normally allow substitutes, however, the Club Committee are feeling generous and Wednesday 3rd July, substitutes will be allowed.
Rules:
1/ They must replace another dog, no extra dogs.
2/ The owner of the dog being swapped out of the catalogue must contact us to advise it is ok. You cannot tell us so and so said it is ok, we will NOT do it without the original entry owners approval.
3/ You will need to EMAIL [email protected] by 8am Wednesday 3rd. 8.01am is too late. No other form of contact will be accepted.. Please do not text any of us (we really need to sleep, this is our 3rd event in a row, sending texts in the middle of the night won’t win you any friends (yes people do text after 10pm)).
4/ In the email we need Pedigree Name being removed and the substituted dogs Pedigree name, call name, registration number, owners name, membership number, email address.
If the email does not contain all of these details, the dog will not be substituted. We really don’t have time to chase all the details up…
5/ We will not be refunding the dog being removed, you guys sort out the transfer of money between you.
6/ There will be NO run order changes, what is currently in the catalogue will stay as it is.

We get that this is all very strict, do this, do that, but this needs to be easy for our paperwork slave! This is not something offered in other disciplines generally, we are making special allowances for the last night.

New catalogue will be uploaded around lunchtime.

Can we please ask that for tonight and tomorrow, that exhibitors do not set up under Ring 6 shelter until we've finished check-in etc?

It's open season after that ;)

Also, please to do not park cars up along past ring 6 (heading towards ring 5) or in the vendors area

If you do need to access the disabled parking, we do completely understand and if you have a permit, you are more than welcome to park in those areas but please move dogs away from there. Access to those areas will be via the long way around (straight ahead in the gate, follow bend to the left, follow until next forced bend, then you will come to buildings. This is the catching pen area - if you keep going straight you will find the release area parks)

108 dogs entered. Approx 4 absent.
Just under 20 dogs did not make it to run 2 (making this the most successful run 1 of any QLD unofficial trial)

Of those who made run 2, the night finished with 75 qualifiers and the potential for a few dogs to achieve their titles the next time they run.

Unless you did not receive your certificate, please hold off emailing the club unless it's urgent. If it can wait till the end of the week, that would be appreciated and much kinder on Karen.

BOTS - Battle of the States 100m Sprint

Throughout the year we record the times for each individual run for each dog at each trials. At the end of the BOTS season the fastest time only for the entire year for each dog is submitted. The time submitted is not your average run time that you received, it is the actual run time be it run 1 or 2.
So while your average maybe terrible from a bad run, out of the two runs on the night you may have had one awesome fast run then a very poor run, raising the average.
If you do not want your dog competing at all in BOTS, please email us and we will remove them from the system.

The first SprintDog certificates have been emailed to the lucky 75 dogs who qualified! If your dog completed two runs and you received a ribbon tonight and your certificate has not arrived in your inbox, please check your spam folder!
Please email us if it has not arrived at all!

All 3 catalogues have now been sent. If you have not received them and you are entered on a particular night, please check spam.
If you are new please read through for some basic rules and information.
If your dog does not need vetting, and does not need height measuring, please do not bring them up with you to check in.

All events are currently full. Entries will close at midday today!! Once entries close there will be no refunds or changing dogs (if you think your girl is coming into season, might pay to swap for another dog or refund now). Please check your entries before midday and make changes if you need to!!

When you check in, if your dog is a entire bitch you will be asked to swab them to ensure they are not in season, then you will be asked to move around to the height station. if you have previously competed we may have your dogs height on file already if not they will be measured on the night and a SprintDog Height Card issued.

Your dogs pet name will be called by the gate official, please check in ShowManager that your dogs Pet Name (Call Name) is listed! (ShowManager, My Dogs, select dog. If you update now it will update all entries).

This is a fast event it pays to be within earshot of the gate official to hear when you are up. Take note from the catalogue of a few dogs in front of you!

If you have a DogsQld height card with a height at withers measurement, we can use that for the event otherwise we use measuring hoops on the night!

Once you have been checked in and measured, please move away from the area to allow room for others still waiting to be done!

Please use this post to ask for help from other Competitors with releasing and catching dogs for the upcoming trials!

Entries are currently full! If you are one of the lucky ones to get in, PLEASE ENSURE that you have put down who you handler/ catcher will be. Once entries close and we do up the catalogue, those who have not notified us who is helping them will not be able to change the run order. If you end up missing your turn at the trial, you will go to the end of the line.
ShowManager has plenty of options to include the extra information, each dog has a handler and additional information section when you enter and/or edit or memo to club.
It is up to you to have another person helping you on the night, no officials will catch or release dogs (other than their own or friends).

There were spots available a hour or so ago when the original post was done.
The trials have filled up now!!
Check regularly incase people withdraw their dogs and spaces become available!
Entries close on the 25th June so between now and then keep checking!
SprintDog Club Officials won’t be checking and/or posting so it is up to you!

There are still spaces available for each night as of 6.30am!

Extra dogs per competitor or same dog entered in multiple trials is allowed.

Entries for Monday are full!! However until the official close on the 25th of June, you will be able to self refund if you need to pull out, this will allow entries again in that trial!
