Big investments being made in the 37th district. Extremely happy for the Ravena Grange #1457 to get help in getting the internet service they need and deserve. More money to the Senior Projects of Ravena with ARPA funding! Huge Kudos to Linda Muller and the Village of Ravena for doing all the leg work to get money for Mosher Park. Excited and proud to see all the improvements come to our district.

Extremely happy that the Village of Ravena received $19,000 in Municipal Park Improvement Initiative Grant Funding for Mosher Park. These improvements will be used to make Mosher Park more accessible and ADA compliant. Congratulations and kudos to the Village Board for their hard work on this.

🇺🇸 **Honoring Our Heroes This Memorial Day** 🇺🇸

Today, we come together as a community to honor and remember the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage, dedication, and love for our nation have secured the freedoms we cherish every day.

As we gather with family and friends, let's take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of this day. It is not just a long weekend or a time for barbecues; it is a solemn occasion to pay tribute to those who have given their lives in service to our great nation.

Let us also extend our gratitude to the families of our fallen heroes. Their strength and resilience inspire us all. We owe it to them to remember their loved ones and to support those who continue to serve.

Thank you to our veterans and active-duty service members. Your sacrifices and dedication keep our country safe and free.

Wishing everyone a safe and reflective Memorial Day.

Earlier this May I had the opportunity to present Rose Sickles (Dominico) a proclamation wishing her a Happy 100th Birrhday! Rose has been and continues to be a wonderful person in our community. Having worked her whole career in the district. Rose is an avid reader and loves to color. My son and I presented her with a proclamation and a new pack of colored pencils. I was extremely honored to be apart of such a great celebration. 🎉

Last night it was my honor to present Ravena Grange #1457 with a proclamation claiming the month of April, Grange Month. The Grange has been a major part of my life growing up. They have always been a great community member and an organization that you can always count on. .

This is a letter I received Friday afternoon from Alexis Musto. CCP will be closing its doors. I have sent letters to Governor Hochul, Senator Brealin and Assemblymen Tague. Unfortunately to no avail. There isn’t anything I can do from a county perspective to keep the doors open for CCP. This is a major loss to our community, especially our elderly. I will continue to be the squeaky wheel and advocate for healthcare in small town communities but right now it seems that CCPs closure is imminent.

After not hearing back from Governor Hochul on my previous letter. A letter was sent to the Chairman and CEO of Community Care Physicians asking them to do everything in their power to keep Family Practice Ravena open. This health care provider is vital to our community, closing down would be detrimental to health care in our area. Unfortunately, there isn’t anything I can do at the county level but to call on our elected state officials and board members of Commubiry Care Physicians to
intervene and keep this practice open.

Following feedback from community providers and neighbors, I sent a letter today to the Governor regarding the struggles currently faced by Family Practice Ravena.

Having access to rural healthcare in our area is an absolute priority, and I am asking the state to look into any possible solutions for this issue.

Exit Update:

Yesterday I had a meeting with Albany County officials to discuss pontential next steps in pursuing a NYS Thruway exit for the Port of Coeymans. I have since reached out to other State officials in hopes of setting up a meeting.

I will be sure to keep the public updated as I continue to push for this.

Today I’m calling on NYS and Governor Kathy Hochul to construct a thruway exit for the Port of Coeymans. If Coeymans is set to be at the forefront of massive green energy construction we need to mitigate the affects it will have on our residents. A thruway exit would significantly help reduce the traffic impact of these major projects.
