Match Day Score - Unfortunate loss for the lionesses who held their ground throughout the game. Our defense constantly challenged the other team with our ladies perking up in the second half allowing us to score and put 5 points on the board. Lots to take on and learn from 👊🧡

Top 10 Match Day Photos - Some great action shots of the Lionesses last Sunday. Our first game of the season against Letchworth saw us come away with a well earned win of 29-20. We saw many of our ladies have their first ever debut including and who scored 2 tries for us over the course of the game. A massive shout-out to the borrowed players we had join us for this match such who also scored two tries for us, one of which was converted. Last but certainly not least a special shout-out to who not only played fantastically despite being out of position at Scrum Half, but also debuted as our Captain. During the end of the second half, Faye scored us our final penalty try which helped us secure the win that day.

Super proud of the pride we're building at Ampthill and we can't wait to see what's in store for them this season 🦁🧡

A fantastic start to the season for our Ampthill Lionesses. Brushing the cobwebs off and getting stuck in from the start, our ladies have done us proud! We saw many debuts from new players joining us this season and even some playing out of position. Their resilience and positive mindset has been outstanding and we can't wait to see what the season has in store for us 🧡🦁

Match Announcement! Ampthill Lionesses are kicking off the season with their first game against Letchworth Ladies. Join us for 2pm KO at Letchworth Rugby Club 🧡

A great training session last week with our Ampthill Lionesses! This time we went back to basics with passing and tackling drills making sure to refine our technique. New faces being seen every week and with each session, the pride is growing 🦁

If you want to get back into rugby or maybe even try a new sport then head up to the club Wednesday night at 7:30pm 🧡

New players wanted!!! Come down and join our vibrant team where all skill levels are welcome. Training nights are every Wednesday from 7:30 till 9pm with the club house open afterwards for a good natter and a well earned pint! Don't delay and join the pride now 🧡🦁

New Coach Announcement! We are welcoming Alex Nolan into the ranks of our coaching team and we couldn't be more excited 💪 Alex has heaps of experience and knowledge playing for Stevenage mini & youth, Letchworth 1stXV, Datchworth 1st1XV and North Herts Crusaders rugby league in addition to also coaching the Hitchin Ladies 2XV. Alex has been playing rugby for over 22 years now and we can't wait to elevate our game with his leadership 🧡🦁

Preseason is underway! Wednesday night saw the Lionesses getting straight back into the thick of things with skill development games and fitness challenges. Of course, training wouldn't be right without some banter and laughter! Join the pride next week to get involved 🧡🦁

The Lionesses Played a very competitive game at Cambridge Rugby last weekend eventually losing 51 v 49 with a team including 4 new players playing their very first game!
