Wonderful conversation with
HUMBLE THE POET
about his ongoing journey and his newest book
'How To Be Love(d)'
It's been over two years since starting the podcast and this is among my favorite episodes so far.
We often love highlight reels of success and we equally often mask, disguise, or look away from mental health struggles and its effect on individuals and families - a particular challenge in immigrant communities.
So it is an honor to share a very meaningful conversation with DR RISHI MENON about his very personal journey through alcohol addiction, rehabilitation, and recovery.
We talked about mental health, professional burnout, self-trust, and building human connection as a mode of rejuvenation.
A heartfelt and grateful thank you to Rishi for sharing his ongoing story with vulnerability, deep personal insight, and grace.
The podcast will release tomorrow, Monday Dec 19, and you can find it everywhere.
Please have a listen to this incredibly inspiring human!
The partition of India and Pakistan in 1947 was among the most traumatic and violent events in modern history. I was grateful to host author and oral historian AANCHAL MALHOTRA fir a recent conversation on the podcast to talk about her experiences gathering stories and chronicling memories of this time period and it's aftermath.
