May is .MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH
Mental Health issues can happen to anyone. They happen to all of us at some point in time or the other. Just because we don't talk about it or don't seek professional help for it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
There is no shame in getting help. No shame in choosing to love oneself to get the help. No shame in getting treatment, like counseling or medication. These things do not make us less than. They make us BRAVE.
Let us stop shaming others for caring for themselves so that they can continue to experience joy in their lives. Let us be mindful that our words may unintentionally hurt others when we make insensitive comments about being on medication, seeking therapy, or coping mechanisms.
Let us embrace each other and lift each other up.
You are Brave!
You are Loved!
You are not alone!

The struggle is real. No matter what your struggle is. Work, parenting, relationships, financial, etc. There’s struggles in all of it. Sometimes it weighs down so heavily on your chest, you can’t even breathe.
Stop and remember that you’ve got this. You always have. Someone once told me, “you either find a way or make a way.” And if you have faith, you know He’s got you.
Keep truckin’. Favor is around the corner. It just may be a really long block. ❤️

New year, New planner.
I used these last couple of super cold days to set up my new Living Well Planner.
This planner is my favorite because I can do so much with it. I can goal plan, business plan, and all the other plans in one place.
Now, you do have to spend some time prepping it so if you need something that is less prep intensive, this is not for you. But if you like being in control and making it yours, I cannot recommend this planner enough. And they have the cutest covers. I've attached some pics of the inside pages so you can see what you get inside.

New year means new reading list!
I'm challenging myself to read 100 books this year. I'm already 3 books in and there's much satisfaction in that! I'm including audiobooks into my list because honestly that is the way I get most of my books in. There is no shame in that game and I get to hear some pretty awesome stories! I'm reading for both fun and personal growth.

I like to dabble in different art forms. I took a Christmas snowman painting class a few weeks ago and just finished up this beauty which my youngest has now stolen and decided it belongs in his room. 🤷🏻♀️. Happy Holidays!!🎄🎄

Just a word of advice as we enter the last moments before Christmas.
It’s OK to say NO. It’s definitely ok to turn down the things that will not bring you joy. It’s ok to preserve your sanity.
It’s also ok for you to accept someone else’s NO. It doesn’t mean they’re rejecting you and may not even have anything to do with you. You don’t know the battles that person is fighting. Let’s respect each other’s No’s and enjoy our joys.
I think we’ll be better for it.
