We're putting this out WAY early in the hopes that we have lots of people who want to make sure that all Southwest community of Leather people are able to attend and/or compete for SWPOL at our event next year.

This campaign is tracked specifically for our Grant and our goal this year is just $500. That will make sure we can give at least 10 entry tickets and/or Contestant Application fees to people who might not otherwise be able to participate.

We do not know the cost of entry for attendees at the moment, but this amount will make sure that at least 10 people could be contests for SWPOL if they so desire. If only 2 people need the contestant fee covered, then we will increase the number of people we can grant general attendance to. Any leftover funds will rollover to the next year's Grant.

If you have interest in attending or running in the contest, but would financially be unable to participate, there will be a form to fill out to request a grant closer to the event.

Every donation helps ensure we can make SoCal Soul2Sole accessible to all members of our community.

SoCal Soul2Sole Grant Fund The BIGGEST one day Leather event in San Diego and the home of the Southwest Person of Leather title contest!

I really am excited about this. It's important that I started this organization from the bottom up the right way. I want SoCal Soul2Sole to be a strong, successful, community group. To do that, we've been working on all the business stuff, and it is coming along! All these things will help give our first and future events a solid foundation that's able to support the SWPOL contest and the Leather people this community chooses to represent them at IPOL.

While SoCal Soul2Sole is still being organized, we were excited to see that registration for SPLF is OPEN! They're the home of the International Person of Leather Contest, where the winner of our Southwest Person of Leather will compete after our inaugural contest in the fall of 2024. Even though we don't yet have a contestant to send to IPOL in March of 2024, we will be there, and we had a fantastic time at the last one. Hope to see you there!
