In 2009, Kelly Wearstler was declared by The New Yorker “the presiding grande dame of West Coast interior design,” and it’s a title she doesn’t take lightly. Constantly challenging herself and the limits of design, Wearstler is one of the big names in the industry, a trendsetter that shaped the hospitality industry with designs for Four Seasons Anguilla, Proper Hotels in San Francisco and Viceroy Hotels and Residences, while on the residential side, her clients list includes names such as Cameron Diaz, Gwen Stefani and Ben Stiller. Truly a force to be reckoned with.
Even when these besties from Emily in Paris are dueling, they still look chic AF.
To be fair, Grease came out at the end of the '70s, but it stayed a pop culture phenom well through the '80s. Over 40 years later, it's still iconic, and will forever provide great costume inspo.
No matter how many times you see The Shining, the image of Jack Nicholson’s face popping through that door after he bashes it in with an axe will never stop being bury-your-face-in-the-couch terrifying. Side note: This movie makes a great case for never marrying a writer.
