I love what my long time friend in the Philippines said about the Jo Koy issue.

We need more Jo Koys in the world.

What do I mean by that?
I mean to say that let's step out of our comfort zone and do something that challenges us. If we fail, then at least we can console ourselves by saying that we've tried. Surely, we won't die trying. But if we don't try, then we'll always wonder what could have been. Regret is a tenacious demon that will accompany us til the end.

At the bottom of it all, it's no longer about Jo Koy. It's about us and what we can do to break the glass ceiling so to speak.

I agree with Jack Logan. How many people actually watched ALL the and not just a compilation of Jo Koy?

If you watch the opening 10 mins intro, you will see clearly that it was a hard gig. He had to pack in a lot of facts and mention quite names, hard to mention Filipinos or his mum in that routine?

He did a good job to be honest. Problem is that due to the woke brigade he was very much toned down and had a real battle to make that opening segment that funny.

I am proud that he is Filipino-American and loves Filipinos. That good enough for me. I believe he was being judged too harshly.

These are pictures of cars from Aurelio Motors in the Philippines. Their design makes me proud. I heard that the engine is not from the Philippines but we should be at the very least happy that a Filipino company is striving to put its auto design out in the market. I dream that one day, there will be a Filipino company that can come up with its own supercar.

So pleased that Papa P will be the celebrity at the Barrio Fiesta sa London 2024 next July as well as at the Barrio Fiesta in Dubai next February too!!!
