Just wanted to share this one I just finished. I was given the top. It needed some mending and I wasn't sure I liked it but it has grown on me. Looks like it incorporates some vintage material. Think I will be keeping this one for myself. That doesn't happen often.

Look at this beauty!!! The sunflowers in your yard may be finished for the season, but you could have this to remind you of them.

Measuring in at 72 in by 84 in. All cotton. Displayed on a queen size bed. As you can see, not quite long enough to reach over the edges very far. This would be a good fit for a full or twin. And it would be just great as a throw for a queen or king (or a couch).

Look what's finished! This is the largest quilt I have made. This would not have been doable for me had I not tried the quilt as you go method. It worked out very well. I did underestimate the amount of shrinkage that would take place. Started out aiming for 120 inch squared knowing that it would shrink quite a bit . The quilting actually shrunk it by 3 inches and after washing and drying it shrunk another seven. Looking forward to no other scheduled projects for the summer. Just maybe a few things I get into just because.
