CONDITION NOTES:
- Sequin missing here and there. All spots I found have been tied off. I tied one too tight and it's a lil scrunched in that spot as a result. - Silver/iridescent coating on seasons has worn off on the straps, almost completely in the front. One of the straps has some of the coating missing in the back, but not to the extent of in the front.
- A couple small, minor stains visible from outside. More stains on lining that aren't visible from outside. These should be fairly easy to remove, but I'm worried about removing the sequins' coating too, so I'll leave it to you if you want to mess with them.

I've decided to discontinue free shipping on my items. Here's why:

1) Due to psychological pricing, free-shipping sellers often miss out on sales from people who filter by price. Even when we do show up in customers' searches, simply seeing "$88" as the price to begin with appeals to them more than when you go over $100, regardless of the free shipping label. If platforms showed customers their subtotal ON THE SEARCH RESULTS PAGE -- as one number/without making the customer do math -- that would resolve this issue. Right now, it's not fair that from search results pages, customers immediate *perception* is that the $88 without free shipping and the one with it cost the same. Their cutoff amount often doesn't register until after they think about it more. Sometimes, this happens after they've already looked over details of an item, fell in love, and decided they're okay with the additional cost for shipping.

2) It isn't fair that international costumers pay even more than they normally would. The price they pay for shipping is on top of the extra cost sellers add to the base price to cover shipping.

3) Customers would actually be rewarded for buying multiple items. They wouldn't pay the amount per item that sellers add into the prices, assuming orders will consist of one item each. Rather, they'd just pay the amount the seller really wants plus the lower, combined shipping rate.

4) I'd like to start offering returns. However, it wouldn't be fair to me -- and other sellers who want to accept returns -- to lose out on what they originally spent for shipping when a return isn't due to any error on our end. We could subtract the cost of shipping from the refund amount, but that wouldn't be efficient logistically.

I will adjust prices and settings on Etsy to reflect this change. For everywhere else, I'll leave prices for items already listed alone. You can check what the subtotal on Etsy would be before purchasing, and if it's lower, I will match that price. It'll be even lower than what you'd pay on Etsy simply due to the fact that I don't have to charge tax (unless you're in Texas) when you pay me via PayPa invoice.

OKAY, Y'ALL. Get ready for some military fashion history! I did a lot of research for this suit, cause lemme tell ya, there are very few of these vintage military suits available online.

This specific uniform style was issued from 1960-1981 for members of the Women's Army Corps (WAC). I know the skirt is from 1975 -- and the jacket is from 1976 -- based on their DSA numbers. The two numbers after "DSA100" denote the year.

From what I understand, AG344 is simply the given name of the specific shade of green. (Note: my camera did not capture the color accurately. I tried editing to get the color as close as I could, but it's not perfect,so look it up to see what it looks like.) "Tropical" means that the material is a blend. Originally, this uniform style was only issued in wool. However, starting in 1966, the army also began issuing women this uniform style in a tropical worsted material, so it could be worn year-round with ease.
