More Than 100 Horror Fans Unwittingly Watch 'Dominion' After Attending Mystery Screening In Stockholm, 100 horror fans bought tickets to a secret film screening, not realizing they'd be watching animal cruelty documentary Dominion.

Toronto Cow Save organizer Louise Jorgensen has joined animal law organization Animal Justice, lawyer Camille Labchuk, and journalist Writer & Animal Advocate, Jessica Scott-Reid in suing the province of Ontario, Canada to challenge a dark ag-gag law aimed to stifle activists and keeping the public in the dark about what happens to farmed animals behind closed doors. After 3 long days in court listening to the moving and powerful evidence, photos, videos, and arguments from Animal Justice lawyers, we await for a response from the judge.

"Animal agriculture is creating 'ag-gag' laws to stop you from bearing witness to what they’re doing to our fellow animals behind the windowless walls where they confine, exploit, and kill them. The citizens of Ontario have the right to see the raw, unfiltered reality of what we are supporting, whom we are consuming, what our tax dollars are subsidizing, and the hidden suffering that our choices may be causing to others. Bill 156 - Security from Trespass and Protecting Food Safety Act - suppresses our ability to bear witness to this truth that helps us to make moral, ethical, humane, and kinder choices."

On this day, we observed two large trucks and two small trailers, each brimming with sheep, destined for slaughter. All this suffering is endured for the purpose of using their flesh as 'food.'

You can see it in their eyes; they do not want to be there. Our fellow animals are equal to us in their capacity to feel pain, fear, anxiousness, love, and in the way they value their families and friendships.

These are undeniably trying days, and the pain of witnessing these beings in their last moments never diminishes. We must remember that a day of uncomfort for us is nothing compared to what their entire life has been.

It is imperative that we remain unwavering, compassionate, and committed to sustaining the animal liberation movement.

We cannot express enough gratitude for the individuals who joined us at the vigil, bearing witness to the impending slaughter at Sandyford Abbatoir. Our global community is growing stronger every day 🌎 🧡✊️

With sadness in our hearts and tears in our eyes we send our love and sincere condolences to Esther the Wonder Pig’s family.

Precious Esther was indeed a wonder. She inspired the world to see pigs and other animals as individuals, friends, and family members, with her story prompting so many people to make more compassionate choices. Although she is no longer here, she leaves a tremendous legacy and will live on forever in the hearts of all those whose lives she touched.

Rest in peace beautiful girl. 🩷🤍🕊️

Reflecting on our visit to the Shotts slaughterhouse in 2019, we were confronted with a distressing scene.

The slaughterhouse's drainage system had failed, creating substantial pools of blood across the concrete.

To the left, the shed housed the animals before their journey to the slaughterhouse, and they were offloaded from trucks on the right, compelling them to travel this grim waterway of blood before facing their inevitable fate.

It's nearly unimaginable the fear and stress these animals endured during this. We could see the fear in their eyes 💔

If you genuinely care about animals, stop trying to exploit them 'compassionately'. Just stop exploiting them.

Nothing humane happens inside a slaughterhouse. 💔

Pigs, surprisingly intelligent animals, often exhibit problem-solving skills and social behaviours that rival some of our closest animal companions. 🧡

However, it's crucial to value pigs not solely for their intelligence but also for their inherent worth as sentient beings.

Beyond their smarts, pigs, like all animals, deserve respect, care, and ethical treatment. Recognising their intelligence should serve as a reminder of our responsibility to treat them with kindness, provide proper living conditions, and stop exploiting them solely for personal gain.

In valuing pigs and other animals as equal to humans, we acknowledge the richness of their lives and promote a more compassionate coexistence with the animal kingdom.

‘Confused and panicking, this cow tried to escape death in a slaughterhouse in Switzerland. This girl's struggle and will to live was not indifferent to anyone, not even the slaughterhouse itself, which agreed to release her. ❤️
She has been ceded by the slaughterhouse and has already been taken to the Gnadenhof Papillon sanctuary, where she will be happy and will only die on the day when it is naturally time.
Her name is Tilda. Tilda means warrior 💕
This scenario isn't weird. Many animals try to escape slaughterhouses but unfortunately they are always caught. We hope that the day will also come here when slaughterhouses are able to recognize the will to live that these animals have, and release them.’
