Първата среща по проекта BeRURALactive, съфинансиран по програма Еразъм+Спорт на Европейския съюз, се проведе на 17 октомври. На нея присъстваха представители на координатора на проекта Атлетически клуб КЛАС-Костенец, както и на партньорите от Българска асоциация за развитие на спорта (България), Спортен клуб по лека атлетика Биржай от Литва (Birzai lengvosios atletikos sporto klubas) и Спортен институт в Айдовшчина, Словения (The Ajdovščina Sports Institute).

The first meeting of the project “BeRURALactive”, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, took place on October 17. It was attended by representatives of the project coordinator Athletic Club KLAS-Kostenets (Bulgaria), as well as partners from the Bulgarian sports development association (Bulgaria), Birzai lengvosios atletikos sporto klubas (Lithuania) and The Ajdovščina Sports Institute (Slovenia).

The project “BeRURALactive - Multisport complex in rural reality to empower physical activity motivation” will develop an innovative multisport context that will allow kids in the rural areas to be actively involved in sport activities during their vacations and through this context, they will be inspired to remain involved in sport and will raise physical activity levels and reduce obesity.All involved sport organizations will be empowered and their capacity will be developed through training of sport experts that will be able to use multisport context in their daily work during and after the project lifetime and through thus will be able to: 1. develop different physical abilities in local kids and youngsters through sport activities in various sports (athletics, football, swimming, basketball, tennis, non-formal educational activities through sport, traditional sports of participating countries) and through this raise physical activity levels and reduce obesity; 2. ensure that sport experts in rural area are equipped with innovative approach to use multisport context and to be able to train kids in more than one sport as this way also potential talents of kids in rural area might be spotted and further developed; 3. transfer the acquired know-how through the partners networks and reach significant amount of rural sport entities that might be interested to use the multisport complex method that will be developed.At the other hand the development of “Multisport complex in rural reality to empower physical activity motivation” manual will be sustainable OER (open educational resource) that will be disseminated to sport experts in rural areas in EU.
The project “BeRURALactive - Multi sport complex in rural reality to empower physical activity motivation” is co-funded under the Erasmus+ Sport Program of the European Union and it is a partnership, coordinated from Athletics club KLAS-Kostenets (Bulgaria) and jointly implemented by Bulgarian Sports Development Association (Bulgaria), Birzai lengvosios atletikossporto klubas (Lithuania) and The Ajdovščina Sports Institute (Slovenia).
