Trek & Trot

I love the new pack members when they find their way and really truly blend into the pack. Fills my heart with joy.

So after going to the surgeon yesterday to get his splint changed less than 24 hours later, we discovered this on his leg and ended up at the emergency room. Apparently everything was wrapped too tight and it cut off the circulation. The surgeon saw this last night, and never said anything put a Band-Aid on it underneath the cast and said he was having a slight reaction. I don’t ever do this, but I wanted everybody to know the incompetence of this woman. I saw it this morning and knew the skin was all dead so I don’t understand how a surgeon could not. Luckily Rossmoyne animal emergency hospital took great care of him and we are back home. Now we have a problem on top of a problem created by the person who is supposed to help the problem in the first place. Ugh. My poor boy

Meet Millie, our first cattle dog. A little nervous to start on this very hot morning. The pack welcomed her was open paws.

So happy the water is still running. It’s Monday and everyone is sooo excited…

Meet Ollie a big boy who joined our pack this morning. Bit nervous to start, but by the end he was holding his own, and of course the rest of the wacky racers.

Mazi did her first pack hike today. She did great.

I love it when families come along mother son, mother daughter. And we love water.

I know there’s a ton of pictures, but this is what happens when they don’t see each other for a week. So much fun. They are truly a loving pack 

I am missing the pack terribly, but have had some puppy pals to help me along. See you all next week.
