Five years ago we lost five wonderful people. Viola Beach, made up of Kris Leonard, Jack Dakin, River Reeves and Tom Lowe and their manager Craig Tarry were taken too soon on February 13, 2016.
In 2021, a dozen of their musical peers from the town have come together to pay tribute to the boys that sing. We hope we have made them proud.
All proceeds from streaming and downloads go to charity

We’ll be kicking off this week’s Walrus & Carpenter Show with The Locker Room Cowboys and a track from their new Mega Dodo Records release The Future Came and Stole Our Dreams called Deep Water which features a wonderfully BIG guitar sound from one Icarus Peel.
Italian trio Moonshine Booze make their first appearance on the Walrus & Carpenter with a track called The Hole from their new Pandemonio album, the track is called the Hole. Moonshine Booze reference Italian red wine as one of their inspirations so they’ll fit right into the Walrus & Carpenter culture!
Based in London, Distant Voices is the solo project of Valdis Stekelis and I’ll be playing the latest single release Lights of the City (Shameless Promotion PR).
English singer songwriter Harrison Rimmer makes an appearance with his new single Old Heart.
Scottish singer songwriter Alan Morrison - Moon :o: has a new track out which gets a spin this week, it’s called Break the Chain and has a lovely psyche feel to it.
Bristol based singer songwriter Mark McDowell returns with Home to the Stars in it’s Main Edit version.
I’ll be spinning another track from the new 62 miles from space EP, this time around it’s Sentinel which, to my ears, has something of a Jean-Michel Jarre analogue feel to it, lovely.
Playing out Part 1 it’s the mysterious The Deep Burrito and Blue Girls.

Ruth Blake returns with her marvellous 45, Brave Ships and keeping with the theme of the sea, Louis Cardozo performs Tides.
We’ll play out with a Daisy House classic, Emma in the Morning.
